Wow! I bought tons of Nyx back in the day, especially as I began to get back into makeup. I miss the old cushion embossed eyeshadow singles and blushes, the 5- pan Caribbean palettes too. However, this doesn’t look like the person I read about as being the founder of Nyx! Unless she’s had a ton of work done, it doesn’t look like her. Very strange!

@Kira, when a cis man is in drag it is normal, appropriate and acceptable to refer to them as she/her. Many queens prefer it and I’ve not seen Kim Chi say anywhere that she prefers male pronouns when in drag? If you have please let me know.

Oh, I see! In an Elle July 7, 2018 interview I saw Kim Chi “transforming” into drag, and referred to himself as a “he.” I see there is an August 4 Instagram post in which Kim Chi wears what I presume he would describe as full drag, and it is captioned “cold boy winter.”

Pami, I was actually so confused by the way the brand worded their press statement and the picture, that I totally missed the whole thing about the eyeshadows being called “sharts”! .🤣😂🤣

Nancy, don’t feel alone – I was confused too and thought they were one and the same person. And can someone clue in this middle aged Canadian woman – what are “sharts” (are they what I’m thinking they might be???)

So the kids are ostensibly into calling their eyeshadows sharts these days??? 😂 Potty humor product names are DEFINITELY a little too gimmicky and childish for me, but I’m sure I’m not the target demographic, and maybe I’ll pick one up anyway if the cream shadows turn out to be stellar. Oh man though 🤣

I guess that’s how you top names like Unicorn Poop or Mermaid Tears but the word shart grosses me out much more than the word poop. I can’t see myself purchasing anything with the word shart OR poop in it.

This is awesome because I was just thinking I wish someone would come up with a product centered around multi-colored gastro-intestinal distress that I could put all over my eyes and lips.

I’m interested in the glitter shadows but I’m not really feeling that palette. However, it looks like the brand is only sold on its website and I barely ever order from anywhere but Sephora, Ulta and once in a great while, Colourpop. I don’t see myself ordering any of this.

Her Kim Chi eyeshadow is my fav color from Sugarpill. The creme eyeshadows look fun! I like the artwork on the palette, but the color story doesn’t interest me. I was expecting more vibrant colors. Still excited to see what she continues to bring out.
