Jouer Tan Lines Powder Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Tan Lines
Jouer Tan Lines Powder Highlighter ($24.00 for 0.16 oz.) is medium-dark, coppery brown with warm undertones and a golden, metallic sheen. It was richly pigmented where a little went a long way, but the texture was still soft enough that I could use a lighter hand (or a more feathery brush) and get sheerer coverage if desired. The powder felt smooth to the touch, never powdery, and blended without nearly no effort on my skin. The only downside to this particular shade was that it did emphasize my skin’s natural texture when worn more heavily. It wore for just over eight and a half hours before I noticed it fading.

Formula Overview
$24.00/0.16 oz. - $150.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "long-wearing, highly pigmented" and have a "radiant finish." They are semi-opaque to opaque typically with a denser, creamier consistency that doesn't have any powderiness or dustiness to it. The powders apply well to bare skin, blended out easily, and tend to have a stronger, metallic sheen--definitely a more intense highlighter. They lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

Wow! This sure is a glow-liscious one! Having my reliable Butterfly Beach and ABH Glo-Getter, I’m good. Temptation averted!
But; I’ve got a feeling I won’t be able to resist ordering the eyeshadow palette…. every time I see your eye look, I wind up on Jouer’s site ready to pull the trigger on this palette! ? But *should* I? ?
Review goes up tomorrow!
Woohoo! ???
Feeling the same way about pallet. The eye look is WOW
Oh my gosh! I lovr love this!
I’ll be inspecting the dupe list, as we don’t get this brand here!
I hope one of the dupes will work!
Thank goodness this one is too dark for me, but still trying to resist the other shade, Skinny Dip
Phew 😉
Jouer makes good hightlighters. Unfortunately for me the ones in the summer collection wouldn’t suit me, being a pale girl.
I am glad though for all who will look amazing wearing these highlighters.
Maybe they’ll do some icy ones in winter!
They might, they do have some nice ones, and in summer most people seem to tan a bit, not me though, I stay away from the sun. 🙂
There must be a lot of darker skincolours that both of the summer highlighters will enhance and look gorgeous on.
Looks gorgeous! I can’t decide which one I like better!
Tough choice!
This looks pretty. But I really love the eye look you did with this. You have a gift eye shadow combinations.
Thank you, Vanessa!
So beautiful I would wear this as a blush. I love your whole look perfection.
Thank you so much, Maria!
I have seen so many reviews on YouTube, and I really want to try this! Looks like it has the perfect amount of warmth and shimmer!
The highlighter looks lovely, though not my shade. I have to rave about your lipstick, Christine. It’s beautifully complements this look!
Stunning look Christine! Couldn’t resist and ordered the eyeshadow palette! Just too pretty
Thank you, Ana! I hope you enjoy it.
Very pretty on you. All your makeup. Lovely look.
Thanks a lot, Liz!
