Illamasqua Muse Nail Varnish
Illamasqua Muse Nail Varnish
Illamasqua Muse Nail Varnish ($14.00 for 0.5 fl. oz.) is described as a “deep teal blue.” It’s exactly that–at first glance, it’s more blue than teal, but it’s not just blue. There’s teal, blue, and enough depth to call it deep. The finish is creamy, and the color is opaque in two coats (but nearly opaque in just one). I had an easy time with the formula, because it wasn’t too thick or thin, so the lacquer flowed evenly across the nail and didn’t bubble. I typically get a week’s worth of wear out of Illamasqua’s nail polishes.
It reminded me of Cult Nails Let Me Fly without the shimmer. It was a little bluer and darker than Orly Viridian. It is darker compared to Butter London Artful Dodger.

I’m loving this color and I’m really curious to try out some Illa polishes. Wonder what kind of brush they have!

So pretty!! Reminds me of American Apparel’s Peacock, but I suppose this one is a bit more teal?
So gorgeous! Blues are some of my favorite polish colors and this is perfectly muted for fall and winter.
Reminds me of OPI suzi says feng shui
This is my favorite Illamasqua color. 🙂
Wow, looks way bluer than MAC’s Ocean Dip from the Surf Baby collection. Very pretty.
Looks like Dior nirvana but a bit lighter I would say.
Just checked and Dior nirvana got green undertone but OPI Suzi Says Feng Shi is quite close to it 🙂
Muse is my favorite from Illamasqua 🙂
Oh, I have this colour – it’s gorgeous!
Gorgeous shade! I wonder how this compares to Rescue Beauty Lounge’s Teal.
Looks like China Glaze Shower Together.
Oh, I just sampled this while in Sephora the other day! It is a nice color that I think will carry well into fall.
Christine, what nail polisher remover to you use? I use CVS pure acetone, and I’m worried it might weaken my nails, which is why I stopped doing my nails as much, but I still want to change them every other day!
