($14.00 for 0.5 fl. oz.) is described as a “neon orange.” They really mean neon, too, because this is a medium-dark, neon orange–it’s traffic cone orange, construction orange, whatever you want to call it–it’s bright and in-your-face orange. It’s opaque in nearly one coat, though I did two for swatches, and it dries to this pleather-like finish–a little shiny, kind of matte, but not quite. The finish reminded me of Orly’s Plastix, though Gamma is more neon and deeper than Orly’s Old School Orange. Illamasqua’s formula is richly pigmented, smooth, and easy to apply. I typically get a full week of wear with Illamasqua Nail Varnishes with minimal tip wear and no chips.

I’ve got this one too, I just live this collection so so much. I was having a cogitate over other commenters being turned off by the Bacterium polish because if it’s name. Well clearly this collection is geared towards a certain aesthetic , not meant to appeal to everyone. I’m in the included demographic. In Moby Dick, I’m the one rooting for Nature to fight back- Ahab be hanged. Tangent aside, this was a creative, thoughtful and cohesive collection and Gamma only serves to further illustrate this. P.S. Shout out to my helpful Bacteria!
There was some acidophilus pearl company a little while back that was giving away a shirt reading “I <3 BACTERIA". I wanted it!

I love this colour but I often find oranges darken a little when i wear them.

YUMMMM!! I love it , but I am leaving it due to the price. Nail polish is not something I like to spend a lot of money on.

I love it! It’s so pretty… Unfortunately, here in the Netherlands, bright orange is the national color. So if I’d where it, everyone thinks I’m supporting our soccer team.. Or I’m a royalty geek.. Or way too patriotic.

Too neon bright orange for me. I have Essie Braziliant orange (semi pearl) I bought from the summer 2011 collection and I think that will hold me on my orange needs for a time now to come.
