1, Numero uno spot held by Natasha Denona Shiny Lip Color: Lilac Rose (it’s really not that shiny tbh).
2. MAC Disney Aladdin: Friend Like Me .. even better shade wise on me than Samatha Ravndahl
3. Charlotte Tilbury KISSING – Kim KW – I’ve had this around for a long time, but still enjoy the wear. This shade has basically replaced all my old original TF’s

I can’t believe PMG Madame Greige is not on my list, but I’m not wearing this type of shade as much as I used to. It’s feeling dated on my mature skin.

1. Dior Addict Lip Tattoo Long-Wear Colored Tint in Natural Nude
2. Dior Addict Lipstick in Reflet (discontinued). This is my all-time favorite pink with blue and lavender undertones and the formula is so unique; it feels like a balm in the beginning, but once applied, the color develops into a strong pink with a gorgeous blue/lavender reflect. It sinks into the lips and stays there for hours. I couldn’t find a dupe, the closest ones are Tom Ford Giacomo and YSL Rouge Pur Couture in Pink Rhapsody, but these two are more pigmented from the beginning and the blue undertones are not so noticeable.

ONLY THREE?

I think I’ll go with the Bite Beauty Lip Crayon in Glace as my daily go-to.

NARS Cruella as my red.

And The Lip Bar Prom Queen liquid lipstick as a fun bold color.

But a whole year without ever wearing a green, teal, or silver lipstick? No berries? No metallics? I’d be so sad. And I’d probably get really creative layering pigments over these three colors to give myself some more variety.

This is an easy one, because I always keep these three lip color options in my “car kit”:
1) Pat McGrath MatteTrance in Flesh 3
2) Buxom Plumping Lip Gloss in Jennifer
3) Pat McGrath MatteTrance in Guinevere*

I’d swap out Guinevere for Sephora Ultra Shine Lip Gel in Vampire Lips during the summer & spring

(Note: My complexion is medium-dark, with an olive undertone and Nars Macao is my perfect foundation match)

NARS Mona, Pat Major Red, and a Greige, maybe L’Oreal Dazzling Doe, for a lighter formula, though Fenty Fog Snog is more interesting, and one should have tad of sparkle.

Oh dear, this is hard for someone who has well over 200 and maybe as many as 300 lipsticks. So, in no particular order:
1. Rouge Bunny Rouge Succulence of Dew Sheer Lipstick in the shade “Perfume of His Gaze.” I chose this because it is comfortable to wear, is a perfect bruised lip formula, I love the name and it compliments my skin tone.
2. Ilia Satin Cream Lip Pencil in the shade 99 Balloons. This is an easy to wear formula and 99 Balloons is a perfect red shade for me. I have many red lipsticks and am partial to a lot of them including Ruby Woo, Red Door Red, Cruella, Major Red, etc
3. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick in the shade, The Queen. My perfect pink shade. While I wouldn’t normally choose a matte formula because they are so drying, this formula I do get on with. I always use a balm under/over before applying.

I really wanted to choose a Pat McGrath lipstick because I love the formula for both the LuxeTrance and MatteTrance lipsticks but in the end I had to go with shades that I wear the most and in comparison to other shades in my collection, I haven’t had the Pat McGrath lipsticks that long. If I had to choose a brand to only select lipsticks from then it would be Pat McGrath.
I also wear a lot of MAC lipsticks and could easily have picked three shades across all formulas including, Twig, Whirl, Captive, Party Parrot, Rebel, Ruby Woo, etc. Just a super hard question to answer without feeling like you are trying to pick a favorite child!

I just knew this would be the next question. Truly, this sounds like hell.

1. Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Sheer Rapture. It’s my perfect MLBB color, and it goes with almost any look.

2. My Wet n Wild x Fergie Perfect Pout Lip Color in Bebot Love. (It’s discontinued, but Urban Decay 1993 is an exact dupe if something happened to it during said year.) Bebot Love is what I usually wear for a neutral or “nude” lipstick if I don’t wear Sheer Rapture.

3. This took me too absurdly long to decide…and I couldn’t. I’ve got it narrowed down to either MAC Halsey (LE) which is my go-to unconventional/goth neutral, MAC Von Teese (LE) because it is my favorite pin-up/glam event red, and Too Faced Throwback Lipstick in TF20 because I need a bright glittery fuchsia to counteract the other two being neutrals. I suck at this.

Ugh 3! This is like when I’m trying to pack to go on vacation! PMG Cyber Orchid BlitzTrance, Nars Orgasm, PMG Nude Romantique BlitzTrance. I would be bored to tears though and would probably be mixing and matching with eye products lol!

I thought this would be easy because I rotate between about 3 lip products anyway, but it would get veryyyy hard over a whole year, as I wear completely different colours in winter vs summer as my skin warms up a LOT. In saying that…

2) Nars Cruella or Bite Beauty VIB Rouge for my red lip.

Ok I thought this would be super hard, having hundreds of lipsticks, but it’s actually easy if I think of what I wear the absolute MOST:
1) Dior Lacquer Stick in Rising Star (absolutely best lipstick ever made, I have 4 backups)
2) Nudestix Freckle (or MAC Fresh Moroccan, sorta interchangeable and both fantastic)
3) Colourpop Trust Me matte x lippie stix with Bitchette liner (that liner is important with this one!)
Runners up – if it could be 5 instead of 3, id add UD Rebel like Christine (I’ve used mine almost up its soooo good) and UD sheer Rapture, a long time love.

This is a very hard question! Lipstick is my favorite makeup item and I have at least one in every color, except yellow (which is not my color at all). So I have a lot of options! NARS Dragon Girl, Colourpop’s Scorpio Moon, MAC Leap of Delight would prob be my three picks currently, but it breaks my heart not having CP’s Ghosted or Sugarpill’s Zero, or WnW Sugar Plum Fairy, or, or, or….
