omg I thought the same thing! That pan looks disgusting. At first glance this could’ve easily been a Halloween palette, since that pan looks like congealed blood or something.

YES! Oh my god, “Slippery” is nauseating, and I cannot believe that shade made it to the final palette. And to rub salt in the wound, the swatched color is boring! Why create an eyeshadow that looks like a skin deformity, Huda? 😫

I think it’s gorgeous. I’m getting it the moment it hits Sephora. Although I wanted Huda’s small nude palettes for some reason I didn’t pick them up this looks like a curation of all the shades I liked from them. So far I think this is the prettiest holiday palette release.

Can brands just stop with the tired “nude” names?

This palette isn’t even nude! Last I checked, while human beings come in a wonderful variety of colors, we’re usually not purple unless there’s some serious bruising going on. And I’m disappointed to say that no part of me is metallic pink. This is a beautiful neutral palette, but I think “Hard” and “Hypnotic” are the only ones that resemble skintones. (maaaaaybe “Passion” would look nude on a person with really dark cool-toned skin but I still think it pulls too purple)

It’s Bettie Page!! (The best known pin-up girl.) I doubt she wore latex. This made me think of the paradox in women’s m/u. Women don’t wish to be seen as sex objects, yet much of the advertising panders to that exact fantasy. Apparel is the same way. Overtly provocative. Attention, please, but don’t take it as a come-on. There’s more than a bit of hypocrisy, and for that matter misogyny involved. But, let’s stay on the surface. This looks like a tight palette, darker nudes and a bit of bronze, pink purple. I hope it will be deep skintone friendly. Looks so, but photoshop, of course.

Huda used to be my favourite brands when it comes for creating inspiring colour stories, but now she seems to lack… Inspiration? It is only my impression, or she is recycling the same stuff with different names and behind the appearance of fancy textures? Well, money saved, I think

I love love love the original New Nudes palette. I feel like this one does have similar colors but more dark colors that probably won’t work as well for me.

I have Huda’s Smokey Obsessions – a neutral kind of palette that came out a couple of years ago. It is divine – the shades are all beautifully pigmented, the shimmers are soft and fine (no fallout) and the mattes are delicate. Although I do think the brand’s latest releases have been a disappointment.

Everything about this is cringe. The name and font looks so cheesy. Her pin up modeling. The ugly colors in the palette. At the end of the day, it’s just a larger version of her mini nudes and gives you no more looks than you can achieve as with the mini. It’s a hard pass!

I’m gonna go against the masses here and say I LOVE the deep skin friendly shades in this palette. This may be the perfect nude addition to add to my professional kit.

Slippery doesn’t look that gross to me , it reminds me instead of a fire agate thats been polished . Fire agates usually have the little bubbles inside them and have a similar coloring . Interesting palette .
