I don’t really think so. Sticky lipgloss to me means the kind where if you press your lips together you can feel them sticking together (obvs. some formulas are more glue like than others so sometimes they stick together to a very high degree and sometimes it’s more subtle). There are a few formulas I’ve tried where I don’t feel my lips sticking together at all in the lip press test. Those are formulas that to me are not sticky.

Guerlain Gloss d’Enfer and Dior Addict Gloss. I like sparkling glosses too! I’m not a gloss girl at heart, but when I wear a gloss I want it to be sparkling (although maybe not so sparkling that it looks frosty)!

Any of Benefit’s Ultra Plush Lip Glosses are amazing: They are absolutely not sticky (more moisturizing then anything) and they have a pleasant scent. I also tried Hourglass’s Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss in Child which is also really nice.

I just recently discovered this gloss, and I must agree that the texture is amazing! Super smooth, comfortable, and moisturizing. The one I’m currently using is a sample, but I’m planning to invest in a few more shades soon!

For me, it’s Lancome Gloss In Love. The formula is a gorgeously balm-like and stays glossy for up to 3 hours on me. Nothing sticky about it other than my love for this formula! I’m also smitten with the doe foot applicator because it’s curved so hugs the lips like a good’un!

Maybelline Color Elixir! L’Oreal Extraordinaire! Lancome Gloss in Love! All of them are completely non-sticky, hydrating, and come in a variety of beautiful shades.

Fresh Sugar Angel Lipgloss! It stays on without being overtly sticky! And Troy Surrat Lip Lustre for just initially sticking and then giving way to a non-slip finish that lasts and is perfectly glossy with a gorgeous hint of shimmer! Both are moisturizing and comfortably my favorites in this department. 🙂

Still love Bourjois lip glosses as much as I did when I was 16. Admittedly I haven’t gotten a more expensive lip gloss product but I’m getting the colour I want, the longevity I want at the price I want.

I too purchased about 5 high shimmer glosses after reading your blog. Naked plum, electric violet and black ruby are gorgeous. I love that so many ppl said Gloss In Love too bc those are so awesome. Glittermania is my fav summer coral. I recently bought a travel size size pack of Smashbox glosses on a whim that turned out to be pretty sticky BUT I’ve found that mixing them with some Fresh Sugar balms gives them the perfect non-sticky texture.

I’m surprised YSL Gloss Volupte isn’t parading the comments. Also I’m loving the newly reformulated NARS lip glosses. Both high shine and pretty shades, non-sticky.

I really like the Sephora brand Rouge Infusion Lip Stain. They’re a stain/gloss hybrid to me, and I really like them. I think the $14 asking price is a bit much, but since drugstore brands would sell the same thing for $8-$10 I understand why they have it up so high.

Anyway they are not sticky at all! I have Coral Extract which is *always* sold out on Sephora’s website, but my local SiJCP had it in stock 🙂

Clinique Superbalm Gloss is probably the most non sticky gloss I’ve ever tried. I don’t really like it a lot since they’re all basically clear on my pigmented lips and the lasting power isn’t the best. But if you want something extremely non-sticky and don’t care about adding color and if you don’t mind reapplying it’s worth looking in to.

I’m with you on this one too Christine. I think I must have 4 or 5 Bobbi brown lip glosses. I also like Chantecailles brilliant lip gloss and Cle de peu in N2.

I’ve just bought the Laura Mercier lip glace in azalea – hugely on impulse – and it’s amazing, smells like strawberry ice cream too. Very non sticky but very glossy too <3 I used to love Dior lip polishes too before they were discontinued 🙁

Drugstore: NYX butter glosses… can’t believe I waited until a couple weeks ago to finally try these
Drugstore ones I want to try: Maybelline color elixirs

“High end”/Sephora: Buxom, Laura Mercier
High end to try: those bobbi brown shimmer are gorgeous! guerlain glosses, dior addict fluid stick

Natural: Juice Beauty @ Ulta – their lipglosses are high shine, shimmery, non-sticky, more opaque than say the bobbi brown citrus swatch I just looked up, smell like oranges… too bad only 4 colors!

I just recently tried the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain gloss and I love it! It’s not sticky at all, it feels slippery until it wears off and it is cool when it goes on. There’s a swatch on my IG 4 days ago of Rio Rush 🙂

That’s funny, the only gloss I tried from BB (just the standard gloss) was so sticky I couldn’t stand it. I like Laura Mercier lip glace in Rose. I think that’s my pick if I could only have one gloss ever. Also enjoy Jouer glosses.

Can I just say here that I find Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lipglosses to be fairly sticky?! I completely don’t mind sticky gloss, but I find the High Shimmers to be not that far behind MAC Lipglass, for stickyness… The only truly non sticky gloss I’ve tried in recent years is Guerlain’s Gloss d’Enfer… it’s so non-sticky that I actually wigged out, it felt like I was wearing lipbalm, not gloss…

I’ve always hated lip gloss for the stickiness (gotta love pulling your hair off your lips) and heaviness of them. I got a sample of the Marvelous Moxie lipgloss from Bare Minerals and was pleasantly surprised, its light and really not sticky at all. I don’t wear any lip product long enough (I like to reapply anything I’m wearing quite a bit) to say if its get sticky after a few hours, buts its nice, comfortable and hydrating. Not what I was expecting!
