It’s a limited edition bronzing powder for the holidays, which is supposed to give the face an “enhanced and illuminated” effect, and it is scented with the brand’s Shalimar scent (which is noticeable in the pan and to a lesser degree, on the skin). The consistency was soft, just a smidgen dusty, but very blendable and forgiving on the skin, as it didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. There was fine shimmer in the powder that translated to more of a satiny sheen as it was blended and buffed on my skin, so the finish looked natural and luminous but not shimmery or metallic. This shade wore well for eight and a half hours before fading.

OMG it’s beautiful on you. You look awesome.
Thank you, Ginny!
OMG!! Christine your makeup looks amazing!! The ColourPop eyeshadows looks gorgeous! Absolutely going to the website to check it out as I have never bought anything by ColourPop. Also, I always love the nude/light lipstick on you! You look beautiful!
Thank you so much, Bella!
That looks really beautiful. Reminds me of Warm Soul by MAC. It’s hard for me to pull off since I am so very pale, but would look lovely on almost everyone, I’d imagine.
It is a pretty one! The finish is the standout part of this shade.
Hi Christine, is it used as a blusher here?
I used it on the cheeks.
Wow. Would definitely want this, it looks gorgeous on you, but will swatch first because not sure how well it will pair with fair skin.
Definitely keep us posted on how it works on your skin tone, Raluko!
It looks pretty blended out
The finish looks great on the skin!
Wow it looks gorgeous on you skin! I didn’t get that one but I might change my mind… although it looks very similar to the Michael Kors bronzer I own, I think the shade name is Flush, but that one is more metallic.
And I think I can officially be labeled “makeup obsessed” since I guessed what you were wearing on your lips before reading the details of your makeup look, lol! Can’t wait to read the review for that lippie, it looks really good in this picture.
Thank you, Lulle! It’s not super unique, and of course, one can definitely get away with just one go-to bronzer (or none at all, if you don’t bronze!).
Agree with everyone, it looks superb on you!!!
Thanks, Elena! 🙂
This is a beautiful bronzer! I am so tempted by the reddish brown shade and that gorgeous sheen. Need to check out the scent as I have sensitivities (spouse even worse). On the wishlist!
Definitely give it a sniff first 😉
Wow, this looks gorgeous on you!
Thank you, Indya!
I just got mine yesterday and loved the packaging and the smell of this product. I haven’t use it yet though. Nice to see it has a good review from you 🙂
Awesome to hear that you’re digging it so far 🙂
Oh, I like this one! Very natural and yet enlivening on the cheeks, like sunkissed! Having missed out on CP Santos, I will have to keep this one under consideration.
This had a great finish and tone!
Looks lovely! I got Terra Inca a few years back and haven’t found anything I like as much as that one but this looks promising!
The question is whether you’ve made a dent in Terra Inca 😉
Now that is gorgeous on you Christine – love your look!
Thanks, Genevieve!
It’s very beautiful on you, but my attention was drawn to your lipstick. I have got to have that lipstick. Just beautiful.
Thank you, Shari!
Nordstrom is on the far opposite side of town but I certainly would like to swatch this on my coloring. It’s stunning.
I hope you can try it, Susan!
I hope so too. It sees a bit dark for me but time will tell.
Oh! suddenly I think I might have to have this… It looks beautiful and something I might actually manage to use. I haven’t quite figured out the whole bronzing and highlighting thing. But this collections just keeps calling me with the meteorites and now this.
thanks for the review
No problem, Barbara!
In the close up swatch it looks quite orange leaning, but on your cheeks it looks like a very lovely natural blush.
It is more natural!
Very pretty, I love the scent Shalimar…but not in my makeup. Bad Guerlain, bad!
I totally get that!
This would be more like a highlighter on me and maybe a blush for my skin tone…but it look gorgeous.
I bet it would be pretty as a blush, though, but if you haven’t seen, I think Terracotta’s permanent range is more extensive than most for bronzers (but the regular line isn’t as shimmery as this one).
Thanks for the response Christine. I actually have the shade 07 from the permanent line and that actually works well as a bronzer for me. But this is just gorg I’m definitely considering and the packaging is nice as well.
Oh, good! I know that there are not as many bronzing options for darker skin tones, and of all brands, Guerlain is one of the few that seems to have a better range (my surprise is given their historic lack of darker foundations).
Dear Christine, i noticed that this powder is very shimmery and a bit orange. how does it compare to finish of hourglass bronzer?Thank you for your reply in advance.
You can compare any two shades in the Swatch Gallery!
