to me, this collection will suit those best with bronze-y skintones or one’s who love a tan sun’skissed look from head to toe. this will be a complete pass for me. i usually always get something from guerlain’s summer collection. i’m way to pale to make any of these colors work for me. i miss their collections from past years where they had something for everyone.
…..i know there are pale people out there that tend to have challenges when summer collections arrive….i will embrace my paleness….i’m going to wait and see what chanel offers….that camelia bronzer will probably be suggested for me to use as an eyeshadow. xo.
I don’t find much here that’s “special” – more “blonde” and “brunette” bronzers that probably give the same effect as the other Guerlain bronzers that many already have but in a different design. I suppose for anyone who doesn’t already have a Guerlain bronzer, either of those would be a great first foray into trying them but otherwise, I see this as easy to pass up. The nail polish looks pretty but not so pretty that I’m prepared to run around trying to find it – it seems pretty “dupe-able”, though I haven’t ever tried a Guerlain polish – are they very good quality?
The lipsticks and nail polish look pretty, though I wonder how sheer the lipsticks are. Not a terribly exciting collection.
Interesting shades.
I saw this on musingsofamuse the other day and thought those sleeves were so cute!!! I’ve never found a Guerlain bronzer that didn’t make me look like an Oompa Loompa tho. The cream shadows are intriguing too… I’m curious about those.
I wonder how do shades in natural brunettes and natural blondes correlate to their regular terracotta line ?
I want to see what those lipsticks look like. Curious
Ive been sitting here trying to investigate the differences between the blonde bronzer shade and the brunette bronzer shade…
The blonde leans slightly more pink and the brunette slightly more golden, to my eye. 🙂
Of Course! I just ordered Teracotta #3 from the Sephora sale, lol! Oh well, I don’t suppose the pretty compact is too necessary. 🙂 Other stuff looks great. Love the colors and Guerlain! 🙂
The packaging makes things look new and different. But is it really?
The nail polish looks gorgeous, and I’m curious to see how the eyeshadows perform/look but otherwise a pass!
I wish I could use either of the shades of the My Terracotta Bronzing Powders because the packing I adore. I think MAC is putting out a collection in the summer with similar packaging as well (but not removable just thes shades and texture). 😉
Gasp! Those juicy coloured compacts! Hope the product inside is up to par too 😉
Despite being known for their bronzers, I actually do not care for Guerlain formulas. I’ve tried a plenty over the years. Not one = good. So I’m not being suckered in by cute sleeves..just not.
I’m light skinned a shade of two below medium with a mix of yellow and greenish undertones and I think bronzer hates me.
That aqua is so pretty. I like cream shadows I don’t have to stick my fingers into!
Hmm – thought I would be more impressed, but no. No bronzers for redheads, a yellow stick lipstick (how many people would really wear this?) and very basic eye colours. This range does not offer something for everyone.
Wow, the colors are very summer like! Curious how their new cream eyeshadow performs
Hmmm, nothing here is grabbing my attention!
As a huge Guerlain fan who was anticipating the summer collection, I’m very disappointed. The eyeshadow packaging does not fit Guerlain’s typical style and reminds me of kid’s play makeup. As for the overall collection, the colors don’t seem to work together and it feels a bit lackluster. I will be interested to see more promotional pictures and swatches in the coming weeks.
