Are they suggesting that this is to used all over your face? The fuchsia just caught me off guard and wondering if us paper white people could use it as a blush. Or do you think it’ll be too sheer or neutral when mixed with the other colours for that? I suppose we won’t know until you’ve tried it. ?

I have the original Météorites in 02 Clair and I love them, they really make your face look that bit more glowy and perfected. Unless this can be used as a blush I don’t see myself purchasing it, as much as I love Guerlain products (mostly lipsticks mind you…OMG so good)!

If you can find a store with a display or tester, take a peek at the “dust” in he bottom, it will give you a good idea of the payoff. With the yellow and white mixed in, I would describe it as a light, warm pink. And yes- looking at them is half the fun! Guerlain did a good job with the packaging again, it just looks so sweet. ?

I picked it up yesterday and it’s definitely a light shimmery pink on a concentrated swatch. Lightly dusted, however, and sheered over the face, you really can’t see any strong transfer of pink. I think it’d be a great option if you want to brighten your face but if your face tends to reflect pink/red based pigments easily you might want to pass on it. Just my thoughts =)

I got mine on Monday (in store @ Nordstrom)! The packaging is really adorable, SA described this as a blush and I would a agree- the payoff is subtle, of course, but is pink enough that it can be built up to a legit cheek color.

Ooooooh – so pretty. I am such a sucker for Meteorites. Even though that blather about transforming UV rays into perfect soft focus light makes me angry…come ON, Guerlain people, we are not stupid and any sane woman knows the only thing to do with UV light is to protect herself from it! But chances are that if it comes to Canada, I will buy this.

Pretty, but I prefer the compact but I do own the vintage pearls that my mom bought years ago and deemed “too pretty to use”….

Hi Christina, so…this isn’t the regular meteorites? Not to be used all over face? I had a little play money and was gonna go order this adap!! I’ve never got to get any of the others!! So sad!! I wanted to see what all the hype is over these!!

I’m not Christina, haha, but you can still buy the original Meteorites that you can use all over the face, as well as this LE one ?.

Interesting. I saw a Vlog by Kimberley Clark (my new favorite vlogger) who added the Holiday Meterorites to her “Not Gonna Buy Anti-Haul” videos. She loves makeup like the rest of us . But she has a message about how our lives are cluttered and “do I really need this?” consumerism that I took seriously for once. My makeup appreciation has increased by shopping my stash, and my spending is wayyyyyyy down while still getting things I need. I think these are super pretty if you are a collector, and I mean exceedingly pretty/special, but a pass for me given what I already own.

I love Kimberly Clark’s anti-haul videos! I was just watching one with one of my kids a few days ago. “I’m not here to hate. Not here to make friends. It’s not Rupaul’s Best Friends Race. ” LOL

I bought two different Clair meteorites about a year ago to assess color. The Claire were very very similar. I sealed one and have been using #3. It’s only 2/3s gone so haven’t started #2 yet. They last a very long time and I always get complexion compliments when I were it. Never a nice make-up compliment which is lesser of the two for face makeup.
I’ve looked at other colors, formulas and feel they are all gorgeous. Get the brush too. It was worth it to me anyway.

This reminds me a lot of the pearls from the Crazy Paris collection, especially those fuchsia pearls. I removed most of those from the Crazy Pearls to use separately as a blush. Now I’m wondering just how similar these are to the ones I have.

You gotta admit that betting Guerlain will have gorgeous packaging is an easy win. I used to work for Guerlain years ago and everything in their lineup just looks so beautiful. Unfortunately it’s not a line I look to much anymore because of the price tag but I still love keeping up with all the new launches and collections.

They are selling them at bergdorf’s online. Ordered mine. I’m a collector but may have to stop here! Going to have my hubby check out the offerings at duty free.
