Gucci I Dream Too Much, Louise Orange, No More Orchids Voile Sheer Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
I Dream Too Much (310)
Gucci Beauty I Dream Too Much (310) Sheer Lipstick ($42.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a soft, yellowy brown with strong, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. The lipstick had a lightweight, thinner texture that was smooth, lightly emollient, and comfortable to apply and never felt clingy. It had semi-sheer pigmentation that could be built up to medium coverage if desired. It wore well for three hours and felt lightly hydrating while worn.

Formula Overview
$42.00/0.12 oz. - $350.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "moisture-rich" with a "luminous shine" that "delivers sheer color." The brand went further and described the coverage as "semitransparent color with luminous shine." The shades had semi-sheer to medium coverage, often slightly buildable, so it was enough pigment to look like something when applied but definitely let the natural lip color come through (so your mileage may vary if you have more pigmented lips than I do).
The texture was lightweight, thin but not clingy, and had a light creaminess to it; the formula didn't feel as luminous as it looked, which was a good thing as it prevented the product from sliding around too readily. The most impressive part was that most shades applied evenly and didn't settle into my lip lines initially nor over time. The wear time was as expected, but it was shorter than more pigmented and less shiny formulas; most shades lasted between three and four hours. The formula felt lightly hydrating but not what I'd call "moisture-rich."
They have a moderate, sweet floral scent (the brand says "floral fragrance with violet notes and a soft, fruity scent"), and I felt like I occasionally could taste the fragrance, though it was a lot less noticeable and present compared to Gucci's original lipstick range (many years ago). I could definitely smell the scent with the product applied, so it was stronger than some formulas where the scent is only noticeable in the packaging/tube.

Louise Orange (307)
Gucci Beauty Louise Orange (307) Sheer Lipstick ($42.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium, yellowy-orange with warm, brown undertones and a natural sheen. The color payoff was semi-sheer and slightly buildable, which applied fairly evenly but was more prone to catching on texture imperfections due to the slightly thinner texture. The formula was smooth, balm-like but not too slippery, which made it comfortable to wear for the three hours it stayed on well for.

No More Orchids (410)
Gucci Beauty No More Orchids (410) Sheer Lipstick ($42.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It had semi-sheer color coverage, which did not apply as evenly as most shades in the range have for me; there was visible streaking along the edges along with a bit of product that settled into my deeper lip lines.
The texture was lightweight, smooth, and balm-like without being heavy, and the thinness made it more prone to emphasizing imperfections in lip texture. It lasted for three hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

If I wasn’t a coffee and tea drinker, I would get Louise Orange. But I am, and my teeth betray that, so nope.
No, I am not really a fan of these orangey-yellow lippies and they are waay to sheer for me.
Very easy to say no to these for me. I don’t like the first two at all, for me that is, they will probably look awesome on someone with the right skin tone. The all look great on Christine, but then she looks good in all colours of lipsticks.
I do like the light pink one, No More Orchids, but have a dupe, MAC Syrup, a lipstick I love.
$42 is way too much for a lipstick, sheer or not, I think.
