  • Weekend plans: It’s been a crazyyy week, so I’m hoping for a little calm before it gets crazy next week as holiday launches are starting to trickle out!
  • Last TV show you watched?: I feel like I haven’t watched TV in weeks, so my guess is something on HGTV… like Love It or List It.

haha I’m with Mellan! Treats for everyone ๐Ÿ˜€

Haul: Origins Original Skin moisturizer, serum, and mask. I’m definitely like it so far.

Weekend plans: going to the garden and zoo with my family.

Last TV show you watched?: The last time I tuned into for a show was Boy Band. Nick Carter was an architect aka judge.

Mellan = has his priorities straight!

Barneys (Pre-Order): L’Oreal Paris X Balmain Paris (7 Liberation, 1 Urban Safari, 2 Glamazone). I logged on too late for access to the full collection. There are 2 more I want if I can get them.

ColourPop ($5 off): Pressed Powder Highlighter (Go Honey, Here Kitty Kitty), Jet Set Black Pencil, Brow Boss Soft Black, Small Palette (3), Free – Fab Five, Party of Five, High Five. The brow pencils are backups โ€“ theyโ€™re really surprisingly good! CP has gotten really terrible with shipping now. The order was placed 5 days ago and still has not shipped. ๐Ÿ™

House of Matriarch: Pre-Order Aria in F# 2ml parfum with atomizer – ships October 2nd

Jo Loves: Red Truffle 21 A Fragrance Paintbrush. I got this on the release date and have a review posted on my fragrance blog. I just got an email and they’re now at Sephora.

Sephora: Sephora Collection (Travel Size Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover, Foot Mask in Almond), Fenty Beauty Match Stix Shimmer (Unicorn), Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Stick Sample (Au Naturel). Big thanks to Katherine for recommending the eye makeup remover and the points reward. Don’t have them yet. Oh, here’s a surprise – I ordered the Fenty this morning and it only took Sephora 3 hours to ship. I’m stunned.

Ulta (In store, $10 off): Too Faced x Kandee Johnson Palette (I wasnโ€™t going to get this but it swatched really well in store), Ulta x Nyx Birthday Palette (solids Fall palette)
Ulta: Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel, Ofra Cosmetics Beverly Hills Highlighter (Beauty Steals). Swatches of everything except the Ofra are up on my IG. I just ordered the Ofra.

Urban Decay: Troublemaker Mascara, GWP โ€“ Blackout Stash Bag, Deluxe Perversion 24/7, Eyeshadow Primer, Vice Lipstick, Foundation. Arrives today but I had already sampled and reviewed the mascara on my IG.

Weekend plans: I had tickets for the Sephora Rouge Event for tomorrow but canceled this morning. It’s a 3 hour round trip and I decided it wasn’t worth it. Instead, I’ll be helping my daughter take her cats to the vet ( fun fun). They must be separated since the feral kitten is still in quarantine. I may be hooking up with some friends at some point over the weekend.

Last TV show you watched?: I watched part of the Star Trek marathon during my lunch break.

Haul: Nothing! I successfully ignored all of the Labor Day Sales.

Weekend plans: Tomorrow is going to be packed. I’m going to the VIB Rouge Holiday Preview event at my local Sephora first thing in the morning, then I have to hurry home to register for workshops at a belly dance event, then my partner, my friend and I will all go to a Cider Festival. Because of this, Sunday will probably be just grocery shopping and vegging around the apartment.

Last TV show I watched: We’re currently binging Archer on Netflix.

Man good on you for avoiding the Labour Day sales. I didn’t. lol My inbox was flooded with them.

Next two weeks I’m getting orders from SauseBox and Juviaโ€™s Place so it’s nice to spread them out.

Haul: VBxEL blonde gold eye metal and the eye ink mascara (more on that in a moment). This morning I ordered Fenty Beauty lipgloss, Too Cool for School spilled wine balm, and the Elizabeth and James rollerball in Nirvana Amethyst to try. Three pairs of overalls from Gap. Pair of Skechers double-up in leopard. Hurricane supplies lol.
So back to the eye ink. Unlike some of the products (like all the #$^$#^ eye palettes) in this launch that have been less than stellar, the eye ink delivers. I put on a coat this morning and blinked my eyes and…my lashes were so long I got mascara all over my undereye. That was one coat too. True story. (My lashes aren’t short but they aren’t fake lashes long either.)
Weekend plans: Well I’m in Florida sooo…should be interesting.
Last TV show you watched?: Twin Peaks finale

Hi Katherine, I really like it (my fave is still Bitter Clove though). I haven’t really tried using it as a topper but if I layer it over another shadow it makes the eye metal more intense than using it on its own…since I have only tried layering it over a nude color so far I’m not sure if its too dense to let another color show up under it, if that makes sense.

A tropical bow-tie! How adorable! ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿถ๐ŸŒด

Haul: Found my all-time favorite BB cream by Lumene, now named “Bright Now Vitamin C BB Cream” being sold on Amazon, so I snagged it, along with a spinning lipstick tower! Also waiting on my order I made on ColourPop. Bought: Here Kitty Kitty and Angel Food highlighters, a replacement of “3” eyeshadow, Faded Lippy Stick and Mrs. USLS, got two of the 5 Million something items, the Supershock Eyeshadow and the Lippy Stix. Ordered 2 cat t-shirts, because makeup, cats and coffee are LIFE!

Weekend plans: Didn’t do my root t/up last weekend, sooo probably that? Trying for a FULL mani this weekend as well. Past 4 weeks, I only got as far as the pedi end and then my 2 nail strengtheners/ base coats on my hands. I’ve just been incredibly tired.

Last TV show you watched: Got my 62 inch monstrosity to function again, so last night I got to see the new Gong Show. Definitely different! Oh! And my favorite, The Jimmy Kimmel Show!!!

Haul: Colourpop had a 50% off sale and $5 coupon, so I got like 12 lippie sticks(two bundles of six) for $24, shipped. UD F-Bomb and Big Bang lippies, Hourglass lippie in I Crave(someone noticed that she only had one or two really red lippies, one being Mac Red, I realized it is way too blue for time to branch out on reds) and Fenty Trophy Wife Highlighter. I am officially lipped out lol.

Plans: To try to be kinder to myself in some way. Definitely try to get more sunshine for that vitamin D. Maybe a bath…cuddle with the cats:).

Last TV show:..Hmm, I haven’t had cable in so long and don’t really do the netflix binge thing. I did watch some old episodes of Rhoda..I was too young when that came watched most of the episodes. Funny, sad and empowering series. It was really well done.

Haul: I got two tees from Target and two Yes to Cucumbers masks. The masks were bad ๐Ÿ™ Luckily the tees are good.

Weekend: IDK I’m having a rough week all around. I’d like to hide with takeout Chinese. Too much bad in the world globally, locally, and personally.

Last TV show: The Americans. My sister is starting on it and I’ve seen the first few seasons but I’m rewatching it occasionally when she is.

I recommend Panda Express Orange Chicken for that:) They let ya sample before ya buy too;). Super yum. It’s a tough world sometimes ain’t it? But..there is take out or delivery..extra points if the delivery guy is cute lol. My last one was! Haha. I think he was from India…and I even said under my breath, “Man you’re cute!”. Oops.

HAUL: I was inspired by the brown lipstick post last week so I grabbed Butter and Maison matte lipsticks by NYX. Butter is a nice nude on me since most nudes are too dark, too pink, or too peach on me. Maison is pretty bold but I definitely didn’t have anything this brown in my stash. So it’s a welcome addition.

WEEKEND: painting the house #boring

LAST TV SHOW: Top of the Lake. For the fourth time…

Haul: I just got back from vacation last night (Reykjavik/ Brussels/ Amsterdam) and while I did spend money like it was my job, I didn’t end up with many beauty products! We are so lucky to have access to almost everything here in the US. I did buy a Neroli scented facial spray in Iceland that I am very excited about, although I think it’s a British brand, Aqua Oleum. Smells amazing!

Weekend plans: Recover from my jet lag and vacation hangover! Do lots of laundry and cuddle my baby doggies that I have missed so much.

Last TV show you watched?: Local news this morning and BBC while on vacay; I think the last “fun” show i watched was Master of None.

What an amazing holiday Julia -those places are so inspiring and beautiful. A lot of makeup in Europe is quite expensive and your country has many great brands. And I am sure there will be a stack of laundry to do. Have a relaxing weekend.

Oh my, that bow tie! ahhh
Haul: I think I am suppose to get a Makeup Monster highlighter I ordered, maybe tomorrow? But other than that nothing, but Lila is coming out on Monday…super pumped for that.
Weekend plans: Going to see a band during happy hour tonight and then to the movies to see IT. So I’ll probably never sleep again. But hopefully I will have enough energy to go on a hike at a sculpture park tomorrow. And visiting the boyfriend’s family on Sunday.
Last TV show you watched?: Through actual cable/tv… I Hart Food, but I guess I was passively watching a very ridiculous episode of Property Brothers last night through Hulu.

Haul: Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Foundation in 450, Fenty Match Stix in Espresso, Fenty Killawat Duo in Ginger Binge and Moscow Mule, Fenty Killawat Highlight in Trophy Wife – SUPPPER Excited about these. Tested them in store and they truly are great on first try!! Needed new Urban Decay all nighter spray and that’s about it for today.

โ€ขWeekend plans: Going to see “IT” Movie with my cousin and my son tonight and that’s it! Buying Fenty was put in my budget which meant that was all the “play money” I am willing to spend on extracurricular things.

โ€ขLast TV show you watched?: I don’t have reg TV so everything I watch is on HULU or Netflix. I watch Seinfeld everyday but also binging Friends, Golden Girls (AGAIN), Burn Notice, The Strain, and I am about to embark on the Game of Thrones journey!

Nice haul! I think the packaging for Fenty Beauty is so pretty! I am going to pick up the foundation and the lip gloss. I was tempted to get the foundation brush but I have so many brushes already. Let us know how you like the products you picked up and I will try to remember as well. Enjoy your weekend!

Last Haul: Oh man, I received two 20% off Ulta coupons a few weeks ago and I accepted the challenge! I picked up all three LORAC sunset palettes, ABH Subsculture palette, Michael Todd Beauty AHA/DMAE toner, Origins Dr. Weil Mega Mushroom soothing lotion, 2 Skinfood mask tubs (coconut sleeping and lemon rinse off), and BECCA Ever Matte Poreless primer. I had 2 Bath & Body Works hauls recently and grabbed 8 fall and Halloween candles, a Halloween night light, and a few foaming hand soaps. I’m so ready for fall!

Weekend Plans: Staying put! I live in central Georgia and we have a ton of Florida Irma evacuees in town. Hotels are full up north until Atlanta! The storm is expected to hit us around Monday morning (which will probably be a depression by then). I hope our leaky roof can make it through the storm!

Last TV Show I Watched: I *tried* to watch American Horror Story: Cult but I just can’t deal will all the politics. I love horror movies and scary shows but I’m so over politics in the news (everywhere), I don’t want it in my leisure programs too. Besides that, I caught the first episode of Bravo’s Below Deck. I love that show!

Haul: I have had an intern at work for a few weeks now so I am very short on time these days. I haven’t listed my hauls in a while due to demands on my time at work. We’ll see how far I get on this comment.

From the Ulta 20% off sale, like three weeks ago: OFRA highlighter in Rodeo Drive (loved it so much I just picked up two more today during the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale, one for my daughter, one for granddaughter), Tarte Opening Act Lash Primer (my second time purchasing, I really like this one, especially with Urban Decay’s Perversion Mascara and Lancรดme’s Monsieur Big), The Body Shop Chamomile Eye Make Up Remover (second purchase, love this one to dip into with Q-tip whenever I make a mistake during eye make up application), NARS Orgasm Lip Gloss (for daughter Lea’s birthday), NYX Pro Brush flat detail brush (I bought two because I am planning to use them to apply the Lit Glitters I have been yearning after), and UD Naked Heat Palette (this was the just-for-fun part of the purchase, and I have to admit, Urban Decay has really impressed me with this palette and the two Jean Basquait palettes, they have restored my faith in their ability to turn out a good palette).

I ordered my Drunk Elephant C Firma yesterday, which will be my new vitamin C serum for the next 3-4 months. I will be combining it with B Hydra. To me, this is good, affordable option for vitamin C. It is in a concentration appropriate for sensitive skin (15% instead of 20%), still has the enhancing vitamin E and ferulic acid, is at an optimal pH for absorption, and comes from a company who is committed to not using fragrances or other questionable ingredients.

I picked up Clinique’s Glosswear in Tenderheart. This is my second purchase. I love thick, sticky glosses that provide moisture without causing my lipstick to feather. Tenderheart is a great nude color that enhances all of my nude lipsticks.

Plans: Tomorrow I leave for Chicago to spend a weekend away with husband.

Oh God, my new TV show is an addictive, guilty pleasure. I am on my second season of Blacklist.

Haul: NARS blush in Blissful, and Tom Ford Lips and Boys in Theo (DC, found it on eBay with no markup!). Somehow I missed Theo when it released, and since my oldest is named Theo AND I loved the color I couldn’t pass it up – even though Tom Ford’s formula has not been my favorite in my limited experience with it. Both are still sitting in boxes in the entryway so I’m excited to check them out this weekend.

Weekend plans: Working Saturday. Sunday might go for a hike and picnic with my husband and boys.

Last TV show: (Does it count if I streamed it?! Can’t think of the last thing I watched on “actual” TV…) American Crime Story, the People vs. OJ Simpson. Really good.

Haul: UD Vice LIpsticks in Voodoo and Control. I love them both! Kat von D Shade & Light Contour Quad in Smoke ($15 at Sephora).

Weekend plans: My husband and I are going to Seattle for a few days as a belated anniversary trip. We’re going to the Chihuly Gardens & Glassworks, a sightseeing cruise, and visiting a friend.

Last TV show you watched?: Killer Kids on Netflix. I love true crime.

What a handsome young fur baby you are, Mellan!!
Haul: I haven’t received anything yet but have ordered the following:

Amazon: Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Chrome Eyeshadow in Gilded Rose and New York Color Nail Polish in Gilded Rose.

ColourPop: Here Kitty Kitty, Monster, Flexitarian, Sideline, Ready or Yacht, Lunch Money, Goldie, Brink, Ruffle My Feather, S’IL Vous Play, Wisp, My Jam and Call Me Later. GWP: Take Five, Party of Five, Nine to Five, High Five and Fab Five.

Gilded Cage Cosmetics: Charisma Lipsticks in #81 Shimmering Coral and #82 Mirror Mauve. Cream E/S in #12 Taupe Rose and #17 Metallic Sage. And one lipstick from their Unleashed Lipstick line in #12 Bold Coral.

Look Fantastic: Nuxe Reve De Miel Hand and Cuticle Cream, Nuxe Reve De Miel Facial Cleansing Oil x 2, Nuxe Reve De Miel Honey Lip Balm x 3, Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil Spray, Stila Magnificent Metal E/S in Rose Gold, Pupa Il Principioso Eye and Lip Palette, Elizabeth Arden E/S Trio in Love of Gray and GWP NuxeExellence Kit and Look Fantastic Beauty Bag.

Supermarket Italy: Maraschino Cherries. Every year I make a special fruitcake for Christmas and I buy the cherries from Italy. I know it is crazy but they are the best and are not processed the same way maraschino cherries are in this country!!

Weekend Plans: More of the same. I have been confined to home secondary to Hazardous Air Quality. The smoke is so thick that I cannot see more than 100 yards in any direction. When I have to go out to get groceries, prescriptions, etc. the smoke causes my eyes and nose to water and my throat to be sore. My lungs feel like they are on fire. I have 14 fires surrounding my area of Western Montana with the closest less than 8 miles away. The good news is that I get to stay in and watch YT videos and shop online for beauty products.

Last TV show I watched: I watched TV for the first time in forever last night! Timely question. I watched taped shows So You Think You Can Dance and Project Runway. I have so much recorded on my DVR I will never get to watch it all.

That cake sounds yum…and I am very interested in the Italian version of those cherries. Love me a Shirley Temple for sure:) Now I want one! A Shirley Temple with take out Chinese! Sounds like my kind of glamorous:)

I love making this cake and I usually make it in September so that I can douse it in alcohol, wrap in cheesecloth and give to family and friends at holiday time. Consequently I get the 6.6 pound can so that I can make enough cakes and have a few left over for using in an ambrosia salad that I make at the holidays. Now I want Chinese Food and we don’t have a take-out or even dine in Chinese restaurant for probably 130 miles so will have to suffer, LOL!!

OMG Deborah – between the bushfires, floods and hurricanes – you’re country’s taking a battering.
With the bushfires so close, stay safe and I hope rain comes soon to your area.

Yes, the United States is having a very difficult year and no end in sight. We had a town hall meeting last night to discuss the fires and plans since we are using fire fighters from all over the United States and potential for more fires to start this weekend with dry lightening predicted with an increase in winds. They told us last night that the fire closest to my home will not continue to be manned as they need the manpower elsewhere. Not good news for us but I do understand the need to utilize resources appropriately. They predict control will not come until we have significant rainfall or very hard frost so not until October or November. Nothing to be done but press on. The eastern seaboard is getting too much water and we aren’t getting any. Instead of using pipelines for oil we may need to build water pipelines.

Will your property be OK or do you have to evacuate? A pipeline for water has been discussed here too – from far north Queensland, where they get deluged from the monsoon season to parts of the outback that receive little water. I don’t know why it hasn’t been done yet. Coastal Queensland, like your southern states, gets a battering every year.
I am praying for you to be safe Deborah!

Haul: Clinique All About Lips, Clinique Quickliner for Eyes in 01 New Black, the Clinique bonus bag from Boscovs, SheaMoisture Superfruit Complex scrub (on clearance at Ulta!), deluxe sample of the Too Faced Hangover RX Primer, and the Essence All About Roses eyeshadow palette… Very good week!

Weekend plans: Chinese food, cleaning, and probably making potato soup!

Last TV show you watched? I’m currently watching the third season of Narcos!

Replaced MJ’s Ultra Fineline in (Cinder)ella. Used the last one to the nub.

Lancome Travel size Monseiur Big Mascara. Meh. Glad I got the small one.

Tarte Bday gift from Sephora. I am CRAAAAAZY about the clay blush in Paaaaarty! I have never tried a Tarte blush — have never been tempted in the least. Nor would I have ever thought that color would look good on me. I have to say I am impressed. With all the gazillions of blushes I own, this one gives me the kind of flush I have been after. The longevity is outstanding. I love it. Sometimes I layer it with Chanel’s Golden Sun, and it’s even nicer. Score!

Thanks to Tammy for the shout out re EL Rose Lip Pencil. When I looked it up I knew it was right. Our colors change though the years, and I am now happiest (and feel I look most youthful) with a more neutral lip. For decades, I liked more color. This pencil is great, and really helps with overall placement, tone, and longevity.

Weekend plans:
I am leaving for LA to shoot a commercial on Sunday, and not coming home until late the next Saturday. I have to pack, get my schedule set, etc… busy. My in-house partner and outside agency team (not to mention the LA production crew) are GREAT, so business and fun will be almost indistinguishable. ๐Ÿ™‚

Last TV show you watched? :
We’re currently into season one of This is Us. I can’t help thinking that HBO or Netflix could take this excellent series, cut out the crap, and make it super outstanding. I like it fine, but do feel I put up with some (unnecessary) network schmaltz.

Hi Kalliela!

Actually, I am a PR and marketing professional specializing in branding, strategic communications strategies, and digital strategies. I’m taking a client who *thought* they had an outreach program, and teaching them what that really means, and implementing a complete turnaround in that operation. This filming project is part of that new messaging.

I will say, I absolutely love what I’m doing right now, and it is the biggest challenge of my career.

LindaP, So glad you found and love the Estee Lauder lip liner in Rose. This pencil has been a game changer for me, and I am now wondering if other lip pencils are going to compare. I’ve had other doublewear lip pencils, but this one is definitely HG.

I was surprised you didn’t love Lancomes’ Monsieur Big. I LOVE IT! I haven’t used it alone. I apply Tarte’s eyelash primer, wait 2-3 minutes, then apply Monsieur Big. Pow–my 51 year old lashes come to life as if I were still 20!

Linda, what do you do for a living? Your job sounds so glamorous, all that travel and what not. I could never handle it, as I am a home body at heart, hate traveling when I’m forced to do it, and love being a social worker. But I am always curious about the careers of others.

Hi Tammy!

Yes, that pencil — love! Thanks for the input on that. It was just what I have been looking for.

My favorite mascara is Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Flashes, but sometimes I get tired of how stiff it feels so I’ve been experimenting. I’ve been using and comparing the gazillion of mascara samples I have, and I wanted to put that Lancome sample in the mix. It’s fine, but to me it’s no better than MAC Zoom lash (really quite dramatic) and some Chanel sample I have, which I also really like. The one thing about the Lancome is that it does not make my eyes itch at all — lots of mascaras do that to me. So big plus there.

My job has been having lots of concentrated travel lately. This trip will be fun, but long and physically demanding in terms of hours. I’ll be wrecked when I get back. But I’ve never been to LA, so I’m looking forward to that. I love to travel, but even more I love to be in jammies watching TV in bed with hubby and go to bed early. I’m yin-yang like that. ๐Ÿ™‚

I picked up my Sephora birthday present very late, like last month and my birthday is in January. I got Paaaarty and like you, I wasn’t impressed when I saw it until I put it on. What a beautiful blush. I have Exposed and love that also but this color is really just perfect on me. I really liked the liquid lipstick that came with the gift also. I couldn’t find a name on mine but it wears like crazy and that is even when I cover it with a balm. Really nice gifts.

I totally agree! That blush is great, and no one is more surprised than me. I let it sit for a week or more before I even looked at it. Now I’ll go find that lipstick and try it too! I think it’s still in the box. ๐Ÿ™‚

Haul: Dermstore had a 25% of sale recently but my items were on backorder; just received yesterday. Purchased Drunk Elephant’s T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial, First Aid, Beauty Facial Radiance Pads, and Jouer Skinny Dip palette. OLEHENRIKSEN had 20% during Labor Day; purchased Night Repair Gel, Pore-Balance Facial Sauna Scrub, Find Your Balance Oil-Control Cleanser, Toner, and Moisturizer. I love this skincare line and especially like to use it after my gym workout as it is very cleansing and refreshing; plus it keeps my skin acne free. ULTA 20% purchased new BECCA primer and IT Cosmetics new cleanser (do NOT like at all; does get my face clean to my liking). I also finally got my hands on that CP Yes, Please! palette and it did not disappoint; pigmentation is amazing for $16.

Weekend plans: Celebrating family birthdays; hubby, mother and daughter who all had birthdays this week.

Last TV show you watched?: Greenleaf (love)! Project Runway’s new season just started and I have been enjoying it; have watched it from the first season (love too!).

Clarification, I meant to say the IT cleanser does not get my face clean that way I like it. The cleanser is hydrating but just doesn’t do the job for me.

Another cutie photo of Mellon!

Haul: nothing this week. I haven’t been to the shops!

Weekend plans: Laying low – I caught a cold earlier last week and it has turned into a nasty case of sinusitis. I am on antibiotics and am getting much better. But it will be a no frills weekend.

Last TV Show watched: Normally I don’t watch a lot of TV, but since I have been sick I have watched a few shows that I have recorded. One series I am enthralled with is The Handmaid’s Tale – I remember others here on the blog talking about it awhile ago and it is simply amazing.

I also mean to add that for those who live in the Gulf area and NW USA, battling hurricanes, flood and fire – I hope that you and your families stay safe and that your homes are spared from the respective dangers.

Nail stamping plates, more indie nail polish – I think I’m finally “current” with my collection as far as what I want to have and for what purposes I want to have it (nail art – stamping, vinyls). There have been a few collections that have come out and instead of buying the whole lot, I’ve only bought a few polishes or plates here and there.

Brush Cleanser
Catch My Eye fluidline – I think I would really like this as a base for eyeshadow
Oh My Passion! Pearlmatte facepowder (backup)

I’m excited for the holiday releases! I’ll be looking out for Chanel, Tom Ford, Guerlain (for holiday Meteorites) and MAC. Perfect timing too – with my nail polish collection current, I can shift my focus back to makeup.

Weekend plans: Cooking, cleaning, volunteering at the animal sanctuary and giving myself a manicure. Might have a potluck with my girlfriends on Sunday after church.
Last TV show you watched?: We’ve been watching a lot on Netflix lately so it was either Glitch (Australian), The Code (Australian) or The Defenders (Marvel Uni,verse).

Haul: Too Faced cream blush from the Peaches and Cream collection in So Peachy, Gloss Bomb by Fenty Beauty. I’ve actually missed the last 3 Free for Haul Friday posts, but I also did a lot of shopping at the drugstore when I was in France on vacation!

Weekend plans: we have to beach get-together parties this weekend, so it should be fun.

Last TV show: I like to watch this slow-paced British crime show on Netflix called Midsomer Murders. Apparently I’m not the only one, it’s been on the Trending list for a while!

Haul: Got the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette and Juvia’s place Nubian 2 palettes in a swap.

Weekend plans: Going to the St. Jacob’s Farmer market tomorrow before going into work.

Last TV show you watched?: The Supervet and AMC’s Preacher.

Haul: NYX Jaded Eyeshadow Single

Weekend Plans : Fall Festival. It’s time for PSL!!

Last TV Show: I watched the premier of American Horror Story. It was just gross. The storyline didn’t capture my attention. I don’t get why people like this!

I got some Nars goodies from old collections: And God created woman palette and Sarah Moon matte liostick in Indecent priposal. I am so impressed with this one, it has become my facorite in an instant and I now want to get one in Fearless red. I also got an audacious lipstick in Anna and this color is perfect for me too.

Mellan has his priorities!
*Haul -2 backups of Melt Cosmetics Bloodshot eyeliner -love the red color and bulletproof wear ! Tatcha SPF sunscreen (travel size) and a silk cleansing cloth. Paula’s Choice SPF Lip Balm.
*Weekend -some work, Target run for staples, then try to relax
*Last TV show watched – probably Dateline
