Haul: Nothing! I’m pretty sure I didn’t buy a single beauty-related thing this week… 🙂
Excited for: Sadly, this weekend is going to be crammed full of studying — three finals worth 100% of my grade in the next week! Ahh!

excited about: vacations! I have a week off from uni, the end of finals, and getting good grades.. oh! and I’m heading to the beach in a few hours
Cherries In The Snow! I’ve been in love with that color for literally 20 years. Probably my first cosmetic experience (even though I was only allowed to wear it to play dress-up).
Cherries in the snow is such a great color. Also one of my first lipsticks when I was 19 or so 🙂

Just bought Per-fekt Beauty Eye Gel; I had received a sample of it and was so impressed with it! It really smoothed my undereye area and the effect lasted all day without creasing.
Off to Nordstrom after work…hoping to pick up Shiseido Sun Protection Compact Foundation (need to see the shades in person) & am going to give Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara a try in my search for the perfect mascara! haha

mini haul: I B2M for Crosswires (and they told me they’d no longer be accepting depotted shadows…depressing) and I’m trying out MUFE Smokey Lash. I also got samples of Josie Maran’s tinted moisturizer and Bliss’s Triple Oxygen Hydrating Mask. My weekend will be like yours, Christine! I have two finals to study for next week that are do-or-die for me. But the weather is REALLY NICE here right now so that’ll be hard 😛

Just skincare – Fresh Umbrian Clay face mask (HG, does wonders for my breakouts) and I’ve gotten Fresh Soy Face Cream to try, but I’m worried because the reviews are so-so.
I will have to check out that face mask!

chroma graphic pencil in NC30 which works well on my NC44 skin to highlight.
Also Brown Bag is the PERfEcT nude for women of colour, it has enough yellow in it to look nude, rather than just brown. I highly recommend women over NC42 add this to their polish arsenal, and the formula was average, but by no means poor quality.

@Kristina, I’m waiting for Brown Bag and can not wait to use it. I’m a NW45/NC50 lady and love creme nail polishes so, can to wait to use it.

All I’m saying is that I signed up for a beauty event at Nordstrom tomorrow at the Chanel counter – I’m already scared!

I can’t believe I forgot to do this last week, lol.
Well this week I haven’t been TOO bad, but still managed to buy plenty. On Monday I got Chanel Rouge Allure La Laque in Phoenix and Rouge Coco in Gardenia (I think, it’s shade no. 13) – but they were actually free because I had £60 worth’s of points on my Boots advantage card. 😉 I also got 3 blushes from Famous (one of Superdrug’s own lines) for £9 altogether with various discount vouchers I had (would’ve been £18). Plus a bronzing powder, an eyeshadow quad and a beautiful coral lipstick from Marks & Spencer’s new make up line.
Then yesterday I wondered into my local L’Occitane and bought loads of stuff from their new Peony make up line (review in my blog).
I also got 4 Laura Geller goodies (2 blushes and 2 eyeshadows) and Bobbi Brown’s Shadow Options palette from eBay, but the latter hasn’t come yet. I ordered the Petal colour strip eyeshadow palette and the Fresh Corals Pot Rouge strip from bobbibrown.co.uk and got them yesterday. So pretty! Still waiting for the new Guerlain Terracotta bronzer in Blonde that I ordered on Monday. 🙁
Excited for Mac To The Beach collection. There’s been rumours about a possible 6th May UK release date, which should be 4th May online, so that’s just 4 days away! But I’ll believe it when I see it. If not, 13th May seems more likely. Other than that it’s a long weekend here in the UK with Monday being bank holiday, so an extra day without the morning rush, yay! 🙂

Just my Dior Crystal Gloss. Yay! My wallet is finally happy! My garden started blooming so all the rain has been worth it.
The flowers have been blooming for me too! My home has been so fragrant with Hyacinth’s for the last few weeks. Nothing beats the scent of fresh cut flowers.
I can’t wait for the peonies this summer:)

Aww, well, I went a little shopping happy at Saks’ friends and family sale on Sunday…
Laura Mercier eyeshadow in African Violet, Secret Concealer, and lip glace in Heat Wave from their Sun Drenched collection (you’d love this bright orangey-coral shade, Christine!); Chanel Kaska Beige quadra eyeshadow and Mat Lumiere foundation in Clair; Kiehl’s avocado eye cream; MAC lipglass in Fold & Tuck; and Dior Rouge Dior lipstick in Mauve Selection. I also popped by Sephora and got the dark green Tokidoki Perfetto eyeliner, Korres lip butter in Pomegranate, and a white-gold Korres eyeshadow (sorta like Nylon, and only $7). Yes, it was a LOT and only 10% off…um…I have no excuses for myself! 😛 I had just gotten my tax return and went a little too happy treating myself!
I’m very excited that I’m leaving next Tuesday for Asheville, NC to visit my sister – she’s lived there 4 years and I’m only just now finally getting my ass out there *blush* We’re very, very close (only 2 years apart) and usually only see each other at Thanksgiving so I’m beyond excited!

This week i bought a few things..again :(… i got the beauty blender!! and i am deeply in love! I got a travel size of the MAKEUP FOREVER face primer and HD powder umm i got a Revlon nail polish in Minted 2 Revlon lipglosses in Firecracker and Pink Pop, Mac eyeshadow in Gezette Grey (sp?) Paint in Bare Canvas, eyeshadow in Club anddddd i bought some SF Giants gear for my hubby, baby and myself since we’re going to the game tomorrow yay!!!

I didn’t even mean to haul, but i went in to Sephora to pick up a small gift for a friend having a hard time, ended up walking out with teh cargo Dare to Play eyeshadow palette, a palette for my friend, two nano eyeliner pencils, Buxom Lashliner in Blue Velvet(leatherette gets used nearly daily!). Thats on top of receiving 40$ worth of Fyrinnae eyeshadows and lip lustres. Awesome.

Oh boy it was a big week for me: I got packages from Lancome with my Cils Booster XL and Le Crayon Poudre along with some sweet freebies, incl. Defincils mascara, a mini shadow quad, some brushes and other stuff. Got the Stila mini Smudge pot set from my local Sephora, along with some Dylans Candy Bar stuff on Sale, and the Sun Safety kit. Also got a Sephora order in the Mail with the Tarte Greening palette, Perricone smoothing serum, daily brush cleaner, and Jurlique Rosewater balancing mist.
Got 3 Essie polishes (Ballet Slippers, Van D’Go, and Petal Pink) and some EcoTools brushes (the bronzer and blush brushes).
Just got the email that my Urban Decay F&F order finally shipped, and I also grabbed some UD stuff from the Hautelook sale so I should have another good haul for next friday!

I hauled Vegas Volt l/s and Originality Nail Lacquer. I love both! I think I might need to get a lip pencil for Vegas Volt though. I also bought a coral and pink scarf which loots gorgeous with VV!

I got MAC Stylesetter Prolong Lipstain Marker (which my absolute LOVE at the moment it is amazing, im sure to get more of them), MAC Designer Purple Pearlglide, a backup of MAC Brownborder Technakohl becuz i used mine up sooo quickly! I compared wat a new one is to mine and it is a HUGE difference… lol im such a brown eyeliner fiend ;). Also I got MAC Tinted Moisturizer in Medium Dark! This means I’m finally getting a tan 🙂 yayy

I got MAC’s Patisserie lipstick & 316 lip brush, Bare Escentuals Buxum Babes mini lipgloss set w/ ‘Pixie’ & ‘Lacey’ lipglosses, and NARS Purple Rain nail polish. I also bought drugstore makeup, which I haven’t done in a long time. I got a backup of Revlon Colorstay Active Light foundation, Revlon Super Lustrous lipglosses in Peach Petal & Shine City, Rimmel eyeshadow in No Way, and one of the Almay eyeshadow palettes for brown eyes. I also got Love’s Baby Soft perfume. It’s so hard to find nowadays and the scent reminds me of when I was 13. 🙂

Sephora had a 20% cashback on bing, so I placed an order for NARS Sheer Glow foundation and Shu Umera’s 24k eyelash curler last night! I couldn’t resist the new $19 price tag, plus I just had to try the curler before Shu pulls the plug on us! 🙁

I’m not buying nothing this weekend in terms of makeup. I’m still waiting on five boxes to come (2 MAC scheduled for Monday/Tuesday of next week delivery, 2 today coastal scents and NYX, and Childrens place probably today as well).
The only draw back when ordering online is you have to wait for stuff. I know I paid for two day shipping for my Coastal Scents palettes so, maybe that’s what waiting at the post office for me to pick up.
Working tomorrow (Saturday), church (Sunday) and chilling at home watching basketball all weekend.

I swore black and blue that I would not buy anything this week, after the *huge* balance on my credit card was paid off yesterday… then I rang the MAC counter in Auckland and ordered Industrial and Blackline pearlglides – after getting the other 4 late last week and falling completely and utterly in LOVE with them. Got the last Blackline, woo hoo!
I got invited to a fairly prestigious scientific seminar at Auckland University on Thursday next week, given by one of our most important clients and I am really excited to be going (and also loving the fact the MAC store is about 300m away, so I can duck out during lunch…)
H’mmm, career advancement plus potential for over a half million dollar contract or buying eyeliner at lunch time – hard to say what I’m most looking forward too…

My pet Angel (cat) is the cutest because she know show to pull everybody’s heart strings. The greatest thing that happened is that I finally handed in my passport application.

i didn’t buy any makeup this week, but i did buy a sally hansen insta dri nail polish in mint sprint. such a pretty color!
i had a question: does back to MAC apply only to the actual product packaging or can you also use the boxes? beacuse they say back to MAC on them….confusing!
i think on only the products that u buy, not the box. any product that u can use for back to mac should have that sign on the box , or else u cant do it .

OMG. think I just had my most successful Sephora trip ever. I bought The Balm Shady Lady Vol 2 palette.. I have never even heard of that brand but I swatched the shadows as I was walking by and they are amazing. there’s even a color almost identical to smoke and diamonds, aka my favorite color of all time!

-I got an e-mail today for a FREE Bare Minerals foiled eye kit for VIBs with any purchase! so I got that. it has 2 full sized shadows and an amazing double-ended brush
-I had 500 BI points so I got a Korres set which is AMAZING. it has guava body butter, guava lip butter, face primer, and wild rose moisturizer. I’ve been wanting to try Korres for forever!! I opened the package and it immediately smelled amazing even though I hadn’t even opened any of the products… LOVE LOVE LOVE.
sorry about my ramble but I basically got like $75 worth of amazing stuff FREE!!!!! it’s like Christmas.

A MUFE star powder (the pinkish one with gold shimmer) and a MUFE eyeshadow in aqua, a bottle of Lise Watier Metamorfix, also got two GWPs, a Biotherm moisturizer sample and a turquoise bag with leather handles. The Shoppers beauty advisor was really trying to get me to pick out some GWPs! MUFE is apparently pulling out of all Shoppers in Canada, which I’m really unhappy about — no wonder they didn’t have the new liquid blushes in the store. 🙁 My city could really use a Sephora!
I just finished my “weekend” (my days off are Thursdays and Fridays), so it’s back to work tomorrow.

I got my NYX package in the mail today! I got the bundle with the lashes and the one with lipsticks, lip pencils and eye pencils. Can’t wait to play in it.
@Alia, I just got mine too. super excited. I got the bundle of Ultimate Pearl Eyeshadow, two new jumbo sticks in Horseradish and French Fries and two lip gloss sets for my three year old in the Sweet Pie Gloss set and the Fruit Basket Gloss set. We are both excited!

Oopsie, I seem to have just placed another order with MAC. My credit card is going to hate me!
Couldn’t get several of the things I wanted, though – the Pret A Papier range isn’t yet available here in the UK 🙁 I wanted the Bamboo pro-pan refill, too, and they’ve discontinued it! The lady I spoke to on the phone at MAC said they’ve probably discontinued it so that people will buy it with the new range instead. That doesn’t help those of us who don’t want it in pot form though.

I’m a little late, but i hope you don’t mind my sharing anyway. I’m still on my modified no-spend, I haven’t bought a single beauty-related thing for just about a month now. Which is *really* hard, by the way.
In other, better news, I passed these District Proficiency tests I took yesterday (Friday), which means I get to be a teacher assistant at the elementary school at which I volunteer :] so I’m really excited for that!
Sorry about all the stress you’re going through in regards to your finals, that’s a lot of pressure! But you’re smart so I’m sure you’ll do great :]

I went to a beauty gala at The Bay. I was seduced by the Lancome bonus (pick your own 7 trial sizes, and some really decent sizes too boot!), and picked up EAU FRAÎCHE DOUCEUR to do some touch up and make up removal without washing. Then I tried on the MAC paint pot Coral Crepe again. This time I tried a different brush, MAC 252 Brush, which buffed the colour on beautifully. I liked what I saw, so picked up Coral Crepe and the MAC brush! And finally, after coveting Si Lolita by Lolita Lempicka since the beginning of the year, I bought a set with a body lotion and the 50 ml eau de parfum, got some bonuses including some other Lempicka samples and a Si Lolitta change purse, and also got a small set of Bulgari Jasmine Night as a bonus. It was amazing retail therapy. And I had a blast. Even got a tarot card reading done (it’s all good in the land of playfulness!).
