Free Birthday Brows by Benefit
Benefit is offering customers a free brow arch service on their birthday–all you need to do is show them a valid government issued photo ID with your date of birth and you’re good to go. You can locate your nearest Benefit Brow Bar here.
Mellan wholeheartedly approved of the birthday hat they sent along with the announcement of the new birthday offer–plus I think he quite enjoyed the musical card, too!

I’m not sure – the information they sent me included a list of stores in the U.S. but as U.S. blogger, I wouldn’t have expected them to send an international list, too.

Um the benefit brow girl in kenwood Macy’s will hook you up she is sooooo amazing!

On your birthday, so it’s valid on your birthday and that’s it.
I’ve been to a Benefit Brow Bar in ULTA, and they usually allow you a couple days before & after. I’m not sure if this was a perk of my location, or if they’re all flexible. 🙂

In order to get the free birthday brows do you have to go on your birth date?
As far as I know, yes — the information said the ID was needed to verify your birthday and didn’t say anything about +/- from your birthday.

Is this someone trained to do eyebrows? Or just an associate? I’d be scared LOL!
Benefit has their own brow bars, which are trained employees – not just a retail associate!
If it helps, I’ve been using Krysti at the Benefit Brow bar in my area – and she’s fantastic. She cleans them up beautifully (without making them too thin – she was the one who in fact convinced me that you don’t need to go that thin!) and they’ll even put concealer on and fill them in so you don’t walk out with that ‘just waxed’ look. I toally recommend them!
Ii just had my birthday and had this service done. I had never been to the brow bar and the service was great. She did a wonderful job and even though it was free she still took the time to talk to me about what I wanted and really made sure my brows looked great before I left. I live in Texas and our brow bars at ulta have been offering this service for at least the past year. I noticed it just after my birthday last year and have been waiting!
So is the card and hat given only to certain customers or do you have to sign up for something?

could you scan the list of brow bars on that card they sent you? when you do the online locator a bunch of ulta locations near me come up but when i called the ultas none of them knew anything about a benefit brow bar in their store.
You need to select “Brow Bar” under Store Type. I recycled the press materials already, sorry!

This is exciting! My birthday is in April and I have been meaning to get to a Benefit Brow bar in my state to have my brows done. Thanks for letting me know Christine. I can always count on you!
Reading the Yelp reviews for my local Brow Bar (Macy’s, downtown Boston), it seems that the associates will most definitely go crazy trying to sell you Benefit products. Something to keep in mind, as I for one find it so annoying! They also apply Benefit makeup to your face as part of the session…I’m guessing this is optional, but make sure you tell them if you don’t want anything else done (one associate started applying makeup without any warning at all, much to the displeasure of the surprised customer!). But for a free service, I would probably go for it.
