Estee Lauder Rosy Future Courreges Super GlossEstee Lauder Rosy Future Courreges Super Gloss ($26.00 for 0.20 fl. oz.) is described as a “pink nude,” which makes absolutely no sense. It’s a brightened, fuchsia-magenta with strong, blue undertones. Revlon HD Tourmaline (510) (P, $8.99) is lighter, brighter. MAC Ultramarine Pink (LE, $30.00) is darker. MAC Itchy & Scratchy & Sexy (LE, $15.00) is more shimmery, less pink. MAC Unlimited Style (LE, $15.00) is lighter. NYX Sugar Cookie (P, $5.00) is sheerer. NARS Priscilla (P, $26.00) is brighter, darker. MAC Pink Poodle (By Request) (LE, $15.00) is more shimmery. Urban Decay Crush (P, $19.00) is more magenta. MAC Style Packed (LE, $15.00) is cooler-toned. Buxom Berry Blast (P, $19.00) is more muted, sheerer. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

The formula is supposed to be an “opaque, high shine hint of mod color for lips.” It has a metal, slant-tipped applicator that will squeeze out the product (reminds me of Hourglass’ lip oil applicator). It was nearly opaque with just a hint of translucency where the natural lip color would come through. It had a very smooth, slightly thick consistency that applied somewhat evenly and was comfortable to wear. The texture had moderate tackiness to it that was noticeable after about ten minutes after application (initially, it seemed almost non-sticky). It seemed to have Estee Lauder’s more traditional fig scent (fruity and sweet) but no discernible taste. On me, the color lasted four and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating.

Lol! I had to laugh when you said it made no sense, “pink nude.” Hahaha. You’re so right. This is such a vibrant shade, nothing nude about it. I know some people naturally have pink lips, so it would be a nude shade for them, but I have yet to meet someone whose lips are magenta. Ha!
xx

Its almost like they were using the same random colour name generator that MAC was using when they named Mac Light English Red …when it was really a nude!

It’s one of those products has the horrible Tester sample moment. You open the cap and is immediately greeted with some hot mess.

Pink nude??? Yikes, I can see thousands of people buying this, thinking they will get a MLBB color and be shocked to find a magenta fuschia pink. With that said, it is a pretty color, but I can definitely see the transparency on your lips when applied. I think the dupe Revlon Ultra HD Gloss in Tourmaline does it better, for a lot cheaper.

Right?? And they don’t seem to have an image of the applicator + product, so it looks rather sterile, lol!

Product mixup while writing descriptions, maybe? It’s a very pretty gloss, though. A lot thicker looking than you’d expect from a gloss. Almost like a liquid lipstick!

I love the color, but it’s dupeable. The metal applicator seems like it would be really messy. I snickered at the color description making no sense. Recently, wasn’t there a lip shade that claimed to be bright pink, but ending up being light and sheer? Do the people who write the descriptions even look at the product first? *smh*

This is pretty. But very dupable. I wonder why in the “futuristic” collection they chose such a commonly done shade if they were only doing one. I have no need for a fuschia gloss at the moment.Don’t get me wrong. if I had a money tree growing in my snowy yard, I would be for sure getting it. But, I have at least 3 or 4 close to this I can think of without looking. So, I am being cynical and planning to spend my $ on many other things. But, If I didn’t for $26, a gloss should be in” A” territory in my book or i would go with a more affordable option..Revlon HD is looking good to me.

While I like the look of the applicator, in the end I’d probably just find it messy and inconvenient, lol. That said, I do love this gloss on you, the color looks lovely.

LOL that’s nowhere near “pink nude”. I’m not sure where they were going with that but the color is beautiful and it looks great on you. I kinda like the packaging too!
