Estee Lauder Radiant Berry Blush
Thinking of Sugar Plums This Winter
Estee Lauder Radiant Berry Blush ($26.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a softened rose-plum with a subtle satin sheen. The texture of Estee Lauder’s powder blushes is incredibly finely milled, soft like silk, and smooth. These are buildable blushes that deliver sheerer color initially but can be layered for a more intense cheek look. I find these are very foolproof blushes; you can never go overboard, and they look very glowy, not shimmery or frosty.

RECOMMENDATION: I love this on both cool and warm skin–it is also absolutely gorgeous on really pale skin, because it can give a nice level of contrast.

P.S. — Sorry the look totally DOES NOT match the blush, but I thought you’d like to see it on than not at all, and this is the only photo I had 🙂
What are you wearing on your lips, it’s so gorgeous!
I think it’s a mix of Guerlain Giny and one of the Chanel Extrait glosses!
Unrelated..but, do you think you could review some face primers and make recs for different skin types? I’m sure lots of us would reallllllyy appreciate it!! 😀 Thanks!
Hi Vanessa,
Unfortunately, most face primers contain high amounts of dimethicone, which is an ingredient that I know breaks me out, so I am not able to review many at this time!
Hi Christine! Dimethicone breaks me out too and the only primer I’ve used is NARS Make Up Primer, it doesn’t have silicones and has natural ingredients! Is really good but works better with water based foundations! You should check it out! =)
Thanks for the suggestion!
Smashbox Photo Finish Light may be a good choice for you too. It’s 60% water based and made for oily or sensitive and acne prone skin. It doesn’t contain anything that could break you out
Since the original is what broke me out, I can’t bring myself to try any Smashbox primer 🙁 I can’t risk it – it was REALLY bad.
Maybe if your are looking for primer, you should try Laura Geller Spackle Under Makeup Primer, Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, Korres Face Primer, Boscia Skin Perfecting Primer or Stila Hydrating Primer – all of these primers are water-based and DO NOT have any Dimethicone in them.
I don’t break out from silicons but I like to use my makeup/primers that that do not have a lot fillers and chemicals which can act adversely to my skin. If you do decide to try these water-based primers, I look forward to reading your thoughts on each one.
If I use one, I use Korres – I just never use them myself – but have refrained from an attempt to do any kind of primer review series, since I can’t test out a lot of the heavyweights in the category 🙂
awww.. i was just about to ask u about face primers… oh well… ill just have to see for myself the best one i can find 😀
So pretty! It reminds me of MAC’s Coygirl, too. Could that be another dupe?
Great review. This is so pretty, I may have to buy it even though I am hardly ever interested in Estee Luader. Can you tell me what’s on your lips? I love the color.
This blush is gorgeous! And so is your lipcolor!
What are you wearing?
It’s a beautiful color and I love Estée Lauder’s blushes. I think it would look really good on my pale cold skintone.
What are you wearing on your lips? I tried reading the post over again, so I apologize if you wrote it down and I missed it. It’s really pretty!!!
Thanks for the review, it looks like it would be very nice on cool skin!
What is your lip color, it looks very gorgeous 🙂
Wow, yes, the blush doesn’t really match the rest of the makeup, and it may be a little bit heavier (but perfect, for us to see the colour :)), but You look so stunningly pretty in this shot!
I actually had to go back to the page to check it out again (still a bit sleepy lol).
You look so radiant, exotic and model-y!
I really like the blush on you, I might check it out sometime! (I only have 1 EL blush, but damn, it photographs so well and is so flattering! The MK-edition one, the coralish shade)
Nice blush but what I noticed even more are your lips! What lip products are you wearing in that picture? it looks beautiful 🙂
is there a dupe for this in the MAC line of blushes?
Please check the post FAQ!
it looks like mac’s briar rose and it appears to be very very blue and mauvey. i think these blue casts are hard to wear and look natural.
I’m looking into this and the peach, next gwp!
OMG your skin looks so radiant in that photo and i love that gorgeous blush .am glad you are doing these reviews. bless you.
