Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Only by accident, never willingly. Unless bathing in CK One when I was a teenager counts as layering? Because nobody needs that much perfume, not even super smelly people!

No, I don’t layer fragrances. I lack the “nose” (aka the perfumer talent of distinguishing and combining harmoniously scents), so I rely on a combination already perfected by someone else.

No, not anymore. When I was significantly younger, I would stop by The Body Shop and have a little fun combining their various fragrance oils. Came up with some good ones, too!

I use shower gels, lotions and body creams in the same fragrance if possible but if not I’ll pick a bath product that has a note in the fragrance I’m trying to bring out more or help make last. I often use vanilla, coconut and cherry body creams because I love gourmand notes. Some of my weaker performing perfumes I’ll layer with another scent but rarely. I just spray on more. On most days I’ll wear a perfume and change to another one at night.

I do on occasion. Got Clementine California from Sephora last week, it’s a clean, sunny citrus scent. Layered it with sandalwood and it smells warmer, perfect for fall!

No. My nose isn’t evolved enough to do that. I would probably manage to combine the fragrances to smell like a cats litterbox. 😀

I LOVE TF Amber Absolute! It’s so good to layer with just about any other TF, and tons of others. Like Givenchy Organza Indecence, Shalimar, so many!
