I wouldn’t say so, because I don’t usually remember to wear perfume unless I’m testing one! On special occasions, I will reach for one, and my favorite is Tom Ford’s Oud Wood, though I don’t know if I’d say that’s really a signature scent.

I love Envy Me too!! However, I love other scents as well, like Tocca’s Giulietta and Dior’s Dior Me, Dior Me Not.

Same here!
It’s such a feminine and sophisticated scent and at the same time it doesn’t scream “old lady” 😀

Nope, I live in New Orleans, we have mosquitoes all year round. Not wanting to be mosquito bait, I dont wear perfume anymore 🙁

Hi Christine. Thanks for using my question! :). Funny enough, the hubby and I were at Disneyland last weekend and I discovered a perfumerie there. I fell in love with Guerlain’s Mitsouko. It’s top notes are a fruity chypre with middle notes of peach and jasmine and base notes of oakmoss and cinnamon. It’s not a delicate scent at first but the dry down on me was more powdery. I love it so much I bought a bottle (early Christmas gift, yay) and I can’t stop sniffing my wrist! Interesting fact: Charlie Chaplin wore this scent.

Whoa, that certainly IS an interesting fact. I’d wear it in order to smell like him. Certainly beats smelling like Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian!

JPG’s “Ma Dame”. For some reason it mixes reallllyyy well with my body chemistry and people compliment me tons thanks to it.

Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue. I haven’t bought any other perfume since it came into production. There’s just something about that perfume that I haven’t experienced in any other.

I’ve overlooked perfume in favor of makeup, so my money goes there most of the time. I have a few perfumes that my mom gave me which smell nice but fragrance is really personal so they don’t really speak to me.

I, too, often forget or ever bother to put perfume except for very special occasions. I would like to find a “signature scent.” I’m more interested in it now but the money is tight at the moment. 😛

I love Guerlain Samsara – I’ve been wearing it since 1987 (yes, I’m that old!) and although I’ve tried a few others, I always come back to Samsara – my husband loves it too 😉

NR For Her EDP has been my signature since 2006, I luuuurve it. The weird thing is that the EDT smells like crap to me, shouldn’t it smell the same only less potent?

Dior Midnight poison mixed with D&G no6 , I wear this mix for special occasions
so It brings back good memories when I wear it again

Mine is YSL’s Original L’Homme scent! Not overpowering, but just smells masculine. It lingers well on my skin and clothes, so that’s always a plus! I’ve tried many others, but always come back to this one.

I kind of do? It changes over time, though. I DO have a signature scent family: sticky sweet and good enough to eat. Somehow, juvenile-smelling perfumes work best with my body chemistry. It definitely helps that my husband is a baker and LOVES dessert. XD;

On that note, my current favorite is Cotton Candy from Urban Rituelle. Past favorites include Aquolina Pink Sugar (duh) and Escada Island Kiss. I’m trying to branch out into more mature gourmand scents, though, and I have my eyes on Hanae Mori Butterfly next. 😀

Ooh ! I love Escada Island Kiss ! It was my signature scent, too bad it’s limited edition ! I like sweet and fresh scents. Right now, I rotate with Bath and Bodyworks vanilla coconut body spray and Fresh Sugar. During summer, I like JLo Miami Glow.

My signature scent is Chloe. I love perfume. I believe it goes hand in hand with femininity, just like makeup! I love the exquisite rose scent it has. Beautiful.

Probably Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab’s Shub Niggurath, although just ginger or spices in general are what I’m most drawn to.

I alternate scents, but I’ve been wearing Vanilla Lace from Victoria’s Secret for about 15 years, so I suppose that could be considered my signature scent.

D&G light blue…been wearing it for 5 years never gets old…tried other perfumes but nothing tops it. This scent reminds me on how the guy that i like so much loves it on me lolz

I have been using Lancôme’s “Trèsor Midnight Rose” for the last four months or so… Other than that, I tend to use almost all of Escada’s summer scents all year long. I love to smell fruity-yummy.

Definitely Dolce & Gabbana Rose the One for me! Have been wearing this for 1,5 years since I discovered it and I love it!

I wear about 5 in a rotation: Katy Perry’s Purr, Benefit’s Maybe Baby, Jessica McClintock, Victor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb and Faith Hill’s perfume – sorry, I forget the name. People always compliment me when I wear Jessica McClintock, but I love the others too much to just use that one. I keep them in a convenient place so that I can just spritz and go.

…Whatever I naturally smell like, I guess. I’ve never worn perfume before because it usually gives me headaches. I’m going to be getting YSL Opium for Christmas, though, and I love that one, so I suppose that will become my signature scent!

I love perfume too much to have one, so I prefer to attach memories to certain scents. My first perfume was Anais Anais by Cacherel, when I was 13, and it’s a very sentimental perfume for me because it absolutely transports me back to tje times I spent with the most important person in my life, who passed away 2 and a half years ago. So if I had to pick it would be Anais Anais.
However if I had to pick a signature brand, I have a top three – Penhaligons, Jo Malone and Marc Jacobs, I buy several perfumes from each of those brands and I’m rarely disapppointed (except for Marc Jacobs on occasion).
I guess though we all have particular favourite scents we always are drawn to, for me it’s floral, woody, or spicy – I don’t like sweet or fruity fragrances at all, but I know how popular they are with others!
For Christmas I’m receiving Tom Ford Black Orchid, which I absolutely LOVED on my skin when I tested it, so I hope the new year will be the beginning of a new perfume obsession.

I think it’s Miss Dior Chérie L’eau or Marc Jacobs’ Daisy. I love both of them, and are the only ones I use.

No, because I love meeting new fragrances, and for me, it’s hard to pick just one. I have a collection of Brazilian and imported perfumes. I’m an addict perfumes. It’s great to feel the fragrance, track your progress and know their history.

kisses from Brazil,

Dior Miss Dior Cherie! I have owned both the EDP and the EDT. I think I’ll wear it for a couple more years till I become too old for this!

Calvin Klein Truth for about 8 years or more. It is the only perfume I ever finish and repurchase for several times. I like the clean flacon and the warm and secent smell. It’s so me.

Probably Chanel 19 perfume – only the perfume. I’ve tried the other, less pricey forms of this fragrance and they’re nothing like the perfume on me. I’ve worn it since I was in university (30 years ago) and loved it then and still love it now. A newer “signature” is Eau du Soir from Sisley. I haven’t loved a fragrance this much in years.

Lancome Miracle is my signature scent! Though I also use Burberry Weekend, YSL Parisienne, Lily Pulitzer Squeeze and DKNY Be Delicious pretty regularly 🙂 After typing that out, it seems as though I am a perfume hoarder!

My signature scent is Penhaligon’s Bluebell – I’ve worn it since my teens, and will go on wearing it forever. I wear Guerlain’s L’Heure Bleue a lot as well, especially in the winter!

I come back to Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab’s Snake Oil time after time, especially in the fall & winter. Other than that, though, I just pick something that suits my mood.

I am with you; I have a few favorites but I switch it up depending on my mood. I also have a fondness for many men’s colognes.

I have been wearing Victoria Secret’s Sexy Little Things Noir for the past year. I think it is becoming my signiture scent.

Yes – Michael Kors. The original scent. I put it on and I just feel amazing. It was Dior’s J’adore for a few years but it got too heavy for me after a while.

I love wearing Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab (BPAL) oils. Although I wear a lot of different BPAL scents, I’d have to say that their Scherezade is my signature. I love the variety and uniqueness that BPAL provides. 🙂

i like lolita lempicka. and jo malone Amber and lavender mixed with 154. i wear the both of those constantly even though they are completely different scents

Perfume evolves with a woman I think. In my teenage years I love Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers. I then progressed in my 20’s to the Clinque “Happy” and “Happy Heart” perfumes, as well as many other fruity florals like Estee Lauder’s Pleasures Exotic. I think now that I am in my thirties my tastes have matured, I love Ralph Lauren’s Romance, Chance by Chanel, and several more classic florals. I don’t know if I have a signature scent, because it changes with the season, the occasion, and the mood I am in. =D

For years it was FCUK for her. I still love it but I am beginning to get into aromatherapy and I’m in love with the eucalyptus and spearmint combo so refreshing but it still has a warmth to it which is something that was missing in FCUK

I am am perfume junkie. I switch my perfumes depending on season, time of day, and activity. My true favorite scent has been discontinued. 🙁 🙁 🙁 It’s Ralph Lauren’s Lauren. I have some stashed away and I keep an eye out for it and buy it whenever I find a reasonable deal.

My new favorite is Versace’s Bright Crystal.

I do and at the same time don’t have a signature scent, as my trick is to create my own signature scent by layering perfumes that I own:)
here are some examples:
these are 1+1 ones, but you can layer 1+1+1, or whatever you can imagine:)

serge lutens douce amere + Dior homme(yeap the for men one, but its so chocolaty I use it for myself when I feel creative)

narciso rodriguez (limited edition in the mirrored bottle) + shiseido femenite du bois (can use the SL version of the FdB as he created both, but I prefer the original shiseido version as its fuller and more 3D than the reissue), or narciso rodriguez + daim blond by serge lutens…

L’artisan bois farine goes well with douce amere by serge lutens as well:)

Scents that I wear mostly alone, without layering are Tom Ford black orchid, Srege Lutens arabie and chergui, No5, Guerlain L’heure bleue

I think every woman should have a signature scent. It is the mark of a woman to have her presence linger long after she is gone. Anyways, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is my “get male attention scent” because when I wear it men always say I smell good. Tom Ford for Estee Lauder Amber Nude was my holy grail scent, but its almost impossible to find now. When I wore that scent at work (as a MUA) every client would comment on how good I smelled.

On springs and summer its Chanel’s CHANCE Eau Fraîche, On fall and winter its Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle and Dior Miss Cherie.

I’ve got a drawer full of fragrances and I do switch around but I always return to Hermes 24 rue Faubourg. It’s a grown-up, sexy scent that requires a tiny spray and for some reason, gets enormous (positive) reaction from men. I was using the curbside luggage check-in at LAX and the porter tagging my suitcase leaned over and said, “You smell fabulous.” Even funnier: the straitlaced, nerdy head of programming at my network was sitting next to me at a staff meeting. He was sorting papers but suddenly stopped. Sniffed twice. And turning beet-red with embarrassment, just said, “Wow.”
