It’s a new, limited edition blush that’s supposed to give a “vibrant veil of coral and fresh pink” color. It seemed to have three colors–a very light ivory, coral, and a light-medium pink with a thin, somewhat chalky feel. There was a general dryness, and it seemed to sit on the surface of the skin without melding with it as well as other Dior blushes/highlighters have in the past. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque color coverage. I think it will work best for fairer skin tones, as the white base may turn ashy on deeper skin tones (I did not find it flattering on me, and I am light-medium to medium due to the stronger white base color). It lasted for seven hours on me before fading.

I had this in my Pre Sale cart for days- but something- and I think it’s the amount of white powder made me think I wouldn’t ever wear this. Now I’m really happy that I deleted it because your review validates my original hesitation. It will look pretty, I agree, on those with very fair/ light complexions. Thanks for the timely review Christine.
No problem, Trish! 🙂
It doesn’t look that vibrant to me, though it is pretty.
It’s definitely a lighter shade!
Such a shame, the embossing is so whimsical looking, but the swatch looks like the DS clearance bin special, weak pigment with chalky white base. Can’t believe Dior has the audacity to charge $65 for this
I really wish the white base wasn’t so prominent!
Thanks for the timely review, Christine. It looks beautiful but swatches and performance are disappointing. ?
Always my pleasure, Tracey!
I don’t know why Dior keeps releasing new LE shades of this compact, I find the design so ugly…
Someone out there must like it, lol!
Aw, boo. Glad I didn’t grab this one then since your review isn’t too great! It’s okay, I’ll save my $10 note for something else 😛
Phew! 🙂 I keep forgetting to use my $10, which means I have to figure out something else between now and the end of the sale, haha.
I definitely see what you mean about the chalkiness. It’s not the worst blush I have ever seen, but it certainly is not vibrant.
Yeah, not the worst but not amazing!
You just saved me a nice chunk of change, Christine, as this would have either looked hideously whitish-chalky on my NC37-40 or just not have shown up at all. It definitely has a weird white, chalky look to it, sadly. Especially noticeable on the arm swatch, yikes!
So glad I could help, Nancy! My guess is you are dead-on that it wouldn’t work well for your skin tone!
I find these multiple colored products to be fun to looks at but I don’t think I’ve ever purchased one bc it’s too hard to determine what their real color actually is. Probably not great for sales.
That I can understand! I feel like it’s hard to know without trying it.
What a bummer. I lusted after this palette but at least now I can save on this one!
Awww! Sorry for the bad news!
I was so disappointed when i swatched this. I was hoping for the perfect pink blush/highlighter. I just ordered the gorgeous luminizer powder from the Skyline fall collection. I kick myself everyday for not getting the glowing gardens highlighters. I hope this(skyline) is a good one.
I’m glad you were able to swatch it first!
Are the letters and white border on top just an over spray? This does nothing for me…Thanks for the heads up,
No, they don’t appear to be an overspray.
Pretty but too much for what it is. It might be more worth it to someone pale like myself though.
Yes, definitely seems geared towards very fair skin tones!
