Love the look of the eyeshadows and the size of the palette but I’m always very wary with Dior because their shadows can be such crap. When they get the formula right, they are divinely lovely but that’s not something one can count on. The lip and cheek tint looks interesting – again, I’ll be eager to try it in store to see how well it works, how it applies, etc.

Christine, it caught my attention that you misspelled “Nordstrom.”

In terms of products, however, I’m curious how the Dior Eye Reviver Palette compares to Urban Decay Naked Basics 1 and 2. I’m disappointed that the eyeliner in the palette doesn’t have a lid or anything to help it from drying out or from collecting the inevitable fallout from the shadows.

Dior shadows are hit-or-miss, curious how these “illuminating” shadows are any different from regular shimmer or metallic shadows. Hope it doesn’t illuminate wrinkles, crepiness, dark circles. Their 5 color kits are now $ 62, so this looks like a decent deal with a black liner thrown in. Hope you will swatch and review!

That blurb about the eyeshadow is hilarious. Seriously, it’s eyeshadow guys. Glow Mimetics TM? Come on. That aside, the palette does look nice indeed. Interesting they put a cream liner in there! I don’t understand the bit about the primer though?

Completely not interested. Yet another neutral palette, made even less appealing by the black liner (I have sensitivities to black pigments). And I’m not a fan of colour-adjusting formulas, especially for the cheeks, because they pretty much always end up blazing hot pink on me!

I’ve had the Cheek & Lip Glow since January. I love it as a blush under my foundation. In fact it’s pretty amazing as a blush, but I find it very sheer and gloss-like for the lips. It has a minty scent that changes to a pleasant scent that I can’t quite describe, and it does stain.

The eye palette looks cool toned, which should make a lot of people happy. I have colors like this, so I’m not interested. I’d worry about the powder getting into the cream liner, too. The Cheek & Lip Glow looks like it might be pretty.

Oooohhh, I do love this pallets! Please review Christine, and show me how you apply what colors where…I love when you do this. Frankly, I hope they are dupe able, because, I’m sorry, $62 for eye makeup is too much for me!! That’s partial grocery money, or utility payments, etc. If its not, well, I’ll love from afar….
