Coral Glow (06)

Dior Coral Glow (06) Dior Forever Couture Luminizer ($48.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a medium-dark pink with warmer, contrasting peachy-gold shimmer throughout that gave it a soft, luminous sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which was easily built up if desired or used with a lighter-hand to get more buildable coverage to begin with.

The consistency was moderately-dense, firmer but not stiff, and picked up well with a moderately-dense brush. It had the gel-powder feel that results in no powderiness but a great blend and application, but it can take a denser brush to pick up product evenly if you’ve not worked with this type of formula before. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview

$48.00/0.21 oz. - $228.57 Per Ounce

It was described as having a "multidimensional glow" that "blend[ed] seamlessly" and was long-wearing. The formula felt like it was a gel-powder formula, which was indicated by its slightly firmer, almost stiff, feel in the pan, but there was no powderiness, and the product picked up well with a moderately-dense brush. Once on, the powder almost "melted" on my skin, which gave it a particularly seamless look that was never dry or dusty.

The pigmentation ranged from shade to shade but were typically semi-opaque to opaque, buildable, and easy to work with by using a lighter or heavier hand to pick up product as desired. They lasted between eight and nine hours on me before fading visibly.

The powders were floral-scented.

Goodness, this is GORGEOUS! While this probably wouldn’t work as a highlighter for me, it would make a beautiful blush and that’s coming from me – someone who doesn’t generally suit or like coral shades. I think I may be in real trouble when the Pink and Pearlescent versions of this are reviewed.

I was going to comment on yesterday’s swatches that this is totally a blush for me.
So pretty, but I have two dupes tho. Yay!

It looks so glowy and radiant! But I do have Nars Orgasm and MJ Jet Girl, so I’ll just pair them together as I often do.

I want this to use as a blush. It does however remind me of NARS Orgasm. Maybe I’ll just take Orgasm out for a spin. It used to be my go to blush years ago.
I do think there’s one very tempting being reviewed soon, the Pearlescent one. I may be in trouble. 🙂
