Coral Glow (06)

Dior Coral Glow (06) Dior Forever Couture Luminizer ($48.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a medium-dark pink with warmer, contrasting peachy-gold shimmer throughout that gave it a soft, luminous sheen. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which was easily built up if desired or used with a lighter-hand to get more buildable coverage to begin with.

The consistency was moderately-dense, firmer but not stiff, and picked up well with a moderately-dense brush. It had the gel-powder feel that results in no powderiness but a great blend and application, but it can take a denser brush to pick up product evenly if you’ve not worked with this type of formula before. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview

$50.00/0.21 oz. - $238.10 Per Ounce

It was described as having a "multidimensional glow" that "blend[ed] seamlessly" and was long-wearing. The formula felt like it was a gel-powder formula, which was indicated by its slightly firmer, almost stiff, feel in the pan, but there was no powderiness, and the product picked up well with a moderately-dense brush. Once on, the powder almost "melted" on my skin, which gave it a particularly seamless look that was never dry or dusty.

The pigmentation ranged from shade to shade but were typically semi-opaque to opaque, buildable, and easy to work with by using a lighter or heavier hand to pick up product as desired. They lasted between eight and nine hours on me before fading visibly.

The powders were floral-scented.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Goodness, this is GORGEOUS! While this probably wouldn’t work as a highlighter for me, it would make a beautiful blush and that’s coming from me – someone who doesn’t generally suit or like coral shades. I think I may be in real trouble when the Pink and Pearlescent versions of this are reviewed.
