Dior Corail Bagatelle (763) DiorBlush Review, Photos, Swatches
Dior Corail Bagatelle (763) DiorBlush
Dior Corail Bagatelle (763) DiorBlush ($43.00 for 0.26 oz.) is a pink-coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. Chanel Intonation (69) (LE, $38.00) is a cream product. NARS Day Dream (LE, $29.00) is a smidgen lighter. MAC Passion for Colour (LE, $21.00) is less pink. Bobbi Brown Pink Coral (LE, $26.00) is similar. Edward Bess Secret Affair (P, $43.00) is slightly warmer. Tom Ford Beauty Flush (P, $55.00) is brighter. theBalm Frat Boy (P, $21.00) is a touch pinker. See comparison swatches.
This is a new and limited edition blush for spring, and the color certainly fits with what comes to mind during the season. It had good color payoff, and it was a both blendable and buildable, so it could be worn very lightly or more intensely, depending on the pressure and application. The finish is somewhere between a satin and a matte; the more is it blended and buffed into the skin, the more satiny the finish becomes–just a little luminous along the edges but not shiny or metallic. It never emphasized pores, and when applied more heavily, it never looked powdery or caky. The texture was soft and finely-milled, blendable, and easy to use. The blush lasted almost eight hours on my normal-to-dry skin before it started to show signs of fading.

Oh my goodness.
The design is gorgeous and the colour itself is so damn pretty.
I feel like this is going to sell itself with the design!
Oh dear, I so do not need another pink-coral blush, but this is gorgeous! I adore the vintage and girly bow embossing too. I have Happy Cherry in the new DiorBlush line and it’s lovely, but I think I may like this color even more. It looks so beautiful on you – so soft and feminine. Why does Dior do this to me?
Because they’re cruel mistresses!
Ha! Perfect description of the House of Dior. I totally caved and ordered this. And, while I was at it, I went ahead and ordered my very first Tom Ford Beauty product – a Lip Color in Spanish Pink. I figured I needed a great lipstick to go with the new blush. Well, I made it 16 days into 2014 before purchasing beauty products 🙂
I’m in love. I can’t get enough of coral pinks for lips and cheeks. This is like the sweet baby sister of salsarose from MAC… I need this in my life.
Enjoy, Kelsey!
The blush looks best in the pan. But your lipgloss is very nice!
Thanks, Clara!
I love coral makeup, but it doesn’t work very well with my skin tone. Love your earrings Christine!
Thank you, Melinda!
So, so pretty! The color, the bows, just everything!
It is really pretty in the pan!
Oh God! Love at first sight!
Seems like you’re not the only one who fell in love!
I got this one, not received it yet, but Oh I love the embossed ruban and name, and the color!!!!!! I am a blush addict!!
Hope you love it when you receive yours, Vivi!
Ahhhh LOVE! This colour is gorgeous, and that bow design is spectacular 🙂
Happy you liked it, Stephanie!
Saw this at the Dior counter the other day…didn’t look this pretty with the design worn off 😛 The color looks perfect for spring!
LOL! Yeah, the design won’t last too long if you use it regularly!
Wow! Dior is always spot-on when it comes to beautiful, feminine packaging and this shade is super pretty! xo
They do know how to design a powder!
Wow, this one looks super pretty in you, Christine! It’s a lovely colour and finish.
Is it just me or does the bow pattern on the blush make it quite remeniscent of Etude House? Somehow I’m not used to seeing bows on Dior! 😛
I’m not that familiar with Etude House (more at a glance than really knowing their line), but I could see it!
Is it crazy to buy a blush because you want to keep it open all day so you can prop it up and look at it? I don’t know why this is so striking for me, but I am so charmed by the color, the bow, the DIOR…… 🙂
Maybe it’s the bright pop of color paired with the vintage design?
Oh this is stunning!
Is it something you might get this spring?
I am hoping so, if I can find a UK supplier! I think we have a store here that sells Dior make up but it doesn’t appear to be up on their site yet, I guess we’re always a little behind 🙂
I think I’m about to drool all over my keyboard. That is sooo beautiful. *Sigh*
lol!
This is an example of a product I’d buy for the packaging. The colour is absolutely gorgeous too, but that embossing just screams must-have!
Not a bad example 🙂
Pretty pink! I love the shade.
Will you be getting one for yourself, Christina?
Oooh thanks for reviewing this one. I was really curious how this would stack up against some in my stash as I really like the colour.
No problem, Wendy!
Hi Christine, thank you for your reviews. Can I just ask would you pick this blush or Nars Day Dream if you were to choose between the 2?
Thanks 🙂
I like this one a little more 🙂
Thanks so much Christine
I have become a Dior Addict!.. no pun intended!.. I love this shade for my fair skin, definitely going to have to purchase this.. it’s stunning! xo Summer
It’ll be lovely on fair skin like yours!
Oh my gosh! You look so flawless and radiant in that last photo, Christine! Could you please tell me what other face products and lipgloss you are wearing?
Guerlain Parure de Lumiere + Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Liquid Illuminator + Urban Decay Loose Finishing Powder
Oh my! I think I need to get this – I’m a sucker for peachy pinky coraly colors. It’s going to be a struggle between never wanting to use it in order to preserve the completely adorable design and wanting to use it all the time because the color is so gorgeous…
Use it!!! 🙂
Of all the new collections, this is the one I am most eager to see reviewed. I really, really hope you cover the eyeshadow palette!
I have the regular powder palette from Nordstrom that I bought to review, hopefully!
Lemme just dust myself off a second, because, holy tamoly, this blush made me faint with its crazy insane prettiness. What are you doing to me Dior? And, oh, what’s this? This blush and all of the Trianon eye shadows just jumped into my Selfridges basket? Now how did that happen?
Naughty Dior.
LOL!!
Selfridges has some nice exclusives, too! 🙁
This blush looks so pretty, absolutely adorable. And the color is really beautiful as well. You always make the best pictures. <3
Thank you, Sylvia!
Beautful! Do you know where it’s sold?
I got mine from Nordstrom! I didn’t see it on Sephora, but it might be at Saks or NM!
oh my, such a pretty blush! <3 looks lovely on you!
Thanks, Ritu!
Oh my gosh this blush is so pretty. I want it just for the packaging/embossed design, but the colour is absolutely stunning as well!
It is a really lovely color!
I think Chanel blush in Malice could be similar!
Thanks for the dupe suggestion, Tamine!
Oh my! This blush is insanely gorgeous! And I know this is a shade I will get a lot of use from.
Erk, it’s such a perfect coral-pink that I know I really don’t need, BUT I’m sure I don’t have anything that’s quite as goregous looking as this. :/
Can you tell me if this is similiar to Coral Cruise from the last collection? I had just picked that one up, but I’ve heard alot of good things about this one. However, I don’t want it if it’s real similiar to mine.
Hi Lisa!
Unfortunately, I do not have Coral Cruise!
Hi Christine, does it look anything like MAC Antonio Lopez coral blush?
This one? http://www.temptalia.com/mac-x-antonio-lopez-facecoral-palette-review-photos-swatches
Passion for Colour is more orange!
Yes, that one. Thanks!
Hi Christine how similar Chanel le blush in Chamade corail bagatelle ? Thy both look great on you
Hmm, do you mean another shade, Lori? Chamade is a dark pinky-red! http://www.temptalia.com/chanel-chamade-67-intonation-69-le-blush-creme-de-chanel-reviews-photos-swatches
Loved this since I first saw it here. Not really my colour but I bought it today for my Mum for Mother’s Day. I think it is a different date in the UK to the US or I’m not being super super organised!
Yes, I do believe Mother’s Day is different between the two countries! But how nice of you to buy it for your mom 🙂
Hi Christine,
I just bought this yesterday together with a quad eyeshadow from chanel called TISSE RIVOLI. i LOVE THIS BLUSH SO MUCH, IT REMINDS ME A LITTLE OF HIPNESS FROM MAC.
CAN YOU TELL ME IF THEY COULD BE DUPES?? I DON’T OWN HIPNESS BECAUSE MISS THE COLLECTION.
Yes, they are similar!
