Dior Color Gradation Collection for Spring 2017
Dior Color Gradation Collection for Spring 2017
Peter Philips’ new makeup collection for Dior Beauty, “Colour Gradation,” is an inspired take on the perpetual movement of nature, fueled by the ephemeral colors that blossom in spring. Philips’ carefully selected color palette features many playful shade variations—from fresh blues to juicy pinks—which can be worn alone or layered to softly structure the face.
The rich history of the House of Dior is apparent throughout the spring 2017 “Colour Gradation” collection. From the iconic plissé pattern featured in the new blush and eye palettes, to the avant-garde shades of crisp lemon, deep turquoise, and intense pink of the new nail shades, each product is decidedly Dior. Cheeks glow with a soft flush, while eyes build in shade and color. Intense hues mix with subtle highlights for a perfect balance. The shades and textures seem to move across the face with the grace of a couture gown.

Oh, my goodness. Dior has been killing it lately! They finally made the Nude Air Luminizers permanent and released some GORGEOUS shades, and this upcoming collection is beautiful as well! I know their eyeshadows are more hit/miss but these are just such a pretty pattern and color selection.
This collection is so beautiful! Can’t wait to get my hands on all of these items! The eyeshadow palettes and nail polishes are available for purchase now on Dior’s website. I’m eagerly stalking other websites to locate the other items! Thanks so much for posting these. Can’t wait to see your review.
The Rising Pink Soft Glow Powder will be mine! Beautiful collection.
What a fun and lovely collection! I love the embossing design on it 😉
I do hope these eyeshadows swatch and wear well, because they look like some cool shades for springtime! Seems like this is the year for peachy or very colorful eyes, lime and magenta nails, and a ton of mostly nude lips?
Hmm. For some reason I thought there were two Mono eyeshadows that matched the nail polish now and early? I believe the teal one is 391. Maybe it’s not an US release?
I like the pink-toned blush and both the Soft Glow face powders but nothing else.
I love the colors of the blue shadow palette, but since this is Dior, not holding out much hope for the quality
I agree a bout the quality. Don’t hold your breath..re the shadows.
Hi Christine I can’t wait for your reviews on the Peach eye shadow quad and the Coral twist blush. I don’t know what the soft glow powder is really for if it is just a all over the face camouflage powder?
I’m predicting they’re a finishing powder, Dior’s equivalent to Guerlain’s Meteorites. Dior has done some truly incredible powders like this in the past. The fact that they’re coming out with with both a warm and a cool version makes me happy, like someone at Dior gets it. I only hope no glitter is involved. I’m exited for Christine’s review.
Really pretty shades here and I love the blushes.
Once again I make a sigh……there are images all over Instagram for this collection and, once again there are really nice products that are “missing” from this collection….sigh….I assume, again that the products I’ve been eagerly awaiting are only available overseas.
Dior certainly knows how to make something look special!
What a pretty collection!
So pretty!
Very pretty collection. Might be time to break open the piggy bank.
The Dior 2017 Spring/Summer collection is certainly beautiful. Layout of eyeshadow palettes & embossing of the Dior name, chic & elegant. Let’s hope they perform as good as they look??? Having worked for 2 couture cosmetic companies, Dior & Chanel for over 10 years, I became frustrated with the fact that they spent millions of dollars on packing, advertising and some celebrity spokesperson and the product quality is less than stellar. This is why lines like Urban Decay & many others have found a huge section in the beauty market. They’re products are for the most part very good and some even excellent, plus the price point reasonable. Beauty blogs like these, as well as blogs on food & health make us an informed & smart consumer. Bravo!!!
The blushes are cute but I’m not really feeling any of it. $$$ saved unless you tell me they are the best things ever.
Oh my, I just posted my large haul but I have to have that Coral Gradation palette and the Maybe and Now polishes. Perhaps a blush. ugh.
Pretty Spring colors!
Oh Dior, why must you keep trying to make blue eyeshadows work, we all know they’re not going to work!!! (With your formulas I mean) Le sigh… beautiful embossing tho btw!!!
Beautiful collection!
Does anyone know when the Soft Glow powders will be available in the US? I’m going nuts checking for them and it seems like every other Spring collection has been released. Plus, you can already buy part of this collection on the Dior website, just not those powders yet…
Christine, have you heard anything more about this collection? Is is going to be released anywhere else (especially in the case of the nail polishes)? Fingers crossed that it will.
where can we buy these DIOR items, as most stores are not carrying them ?
