I LOVE the shades in the cool Backstage Eyeshadow Palette!!!
Ok, now I’m loving the shades in the warm palette, too. If they review well, I’ll have a dilemma!
The eyeshadow palettes are a fail for me – way too similar shades. The highlight, brow and lip palettes have potential though!
Hmmm…well, if the eyeshadow palettes are of the same level of quality as last winter’s new quints, we’re in luck! But, something inside of me doubts that.
Same hopes/expectations/fears for the rest of this collection. Just don’t know what to expect!
I’ve got my fingers crossed that the eye shadow palettes are good quality, they both suit me just fine.
I have a real weakness for the things Dior gets right, even though I know they’re overpriced and over-packaged. But especially their eyeshadow quints – when they’re good, they’re verrrry good. I love that there is a cool and a warm option and I’m already “twitching” over the cool palette. Just when I said I’d try out a “no buy” or a “no buy til I finish something”.
I see this collection as a work of cohesive beauty. I love all of it. Quality, TBD.
I haven’t bought Dior for years, even though I was a huge fan of the eyeshadow quints for ages… this might be the collection to indulge in.
If the quality is there I would like to get the eye palettes. Both are perfect for me. The cheek palettes are pretty too.
These are reportedly the products (eyeshadow palette, contour palette, also Dior lip glow in coral) that were used on Meghan Markle for her wedding day. I liked her look so I’m interested to see how these turn out.
I think they’re already available on the DIor website. I was able to checkout with the cool palette in my cart just fine!
The only item that is available on their site are the eye shadow palettes. The rest are unavailable, not sure if they are sold out or just not available yet. Not impressed at this moment with the eye shadow quads. Colors appear a little washed out or some of them are just dark. I am curious about the lip palette…..
I am on the fence about these – Dior has not really impresed me of late and lots of these shades do look fairly similar to each other. The reviews will tell.
I also meant to say, at least they are not orange, red or pink shades. So that’s a plus.
I love Dior products and in general, their products work for me. I am loving that this cool palette actually looks like it might be cool and the blushes, contours, etc. look nice but I am going to wait on reviews to come in. I don’t see a lot of variation in shades in the eye shadow palette and that makes getting a decent look difficult, although pulling some other shadows in wouldn’t be a huge issue. Overall, everything looks beautiful so fingers crossed for good reviews and swatches.
I love the concept of this collection. The shadow palettes are beautiful and wearable. I can see where the colors might be too similar for some tastes, but for me they’re perfect – classic, elegant, & simple.
I’m tempted to order without seeing swatches or a review, but trying to hold off due to issues with inconsistent performance in the past. Also trying to cut back on purchases. Oh, the agony of being a makeup lover trying to stick to a budget!!
The eye shadow palettes will look nice on light skin tones. I like the highlighter and lip palette! Dior is one of my favorite makeup brands.
I am very interested to see how the eyeshadow palettes review!
Oooh that cool toned eye shadow palette looks beautiful to me. Fingers crossed the quality is there!
I seen this collection on Instagram a month ago and I was in love. I have a few Dior product and love each one. I was surprised to see the price point which is lower than the typical Dior Product. The line is available now on the Dior website and I splurged for one of each … including both eye palettes…. I have not splurged on makeup in so so long, nothing has interested me and just use what I have and repurchase the items that work for my oils skin…. It felt totally satisfying to finally splurge … LOL!
I am not a Sephora fan but will stop in to test the foundation…the one items I did not get as I was unsure of shades.
Will these be permanent or LE? Also will they be sold at other retailers besides Sephora?
I’m not sure! Their press release just said Dior and Sephora.
Finally, a cool-toned eyeshadow palette! I was starting to think they were an endangered species.
