We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Are trios generally a new thing for Dior? I don’t recall ever seeing anything like this from them. I like Earthy Canvas but need it like 3 more holes in the head! Still, I’ll be curious to see how these all rate if you do review them.

Several years ago Dior put out their 3 Couleurs range in a variety of shades – Khaki – which I have and is heavenly, Navy blue, Smokey etc. And they were sensational Mariella. I still have and use my Khaki one – Olive Brown, Olive Green and a muted gold. Just perfect for me in a creamy/powder finish. But the brand hasn’t released any trios since then.

I bought Earthy yesterday at Nordstrom, haven’t swatched it yet, my friend there didn’t even have it on display. Looks good!

Too rich for my blood, but they look like they’re decent quality. And AGAIN, not enough difference between the shades: Earthy 1 & 2, Rosy 1 & 2, and Smoky 1 & 3 are too close. They nailed it with the coral trio — what happened to the others?

The coral one looks nice, but not $63 nice for what I could probably dupe with singles for about $18. So I think I’ll just call this one nice inspiration and seek out that color combo elsewhere.

The rest don’t have enough contrast, in my opinion, though smoky isn’t too far off. If you told me Rosy #1 and Rosy #2 were the same color, I’d believe you.

I like the Rosy trio. I’m a sucker for those pinky rose colors but $63 is a lot for 3 eye shadows. Viseart’s Rose Edit palette has 12 shades and the warm palette can cover the other shades in this collection. I want the Dior Coral Pop blush and maybe one of these trios. Mmmmm. But I’m definitely getting the Viseart palettes.

I would never, ever guess by looking at the pans that Rosy Canvas would swatch as it does. On me, these colors would look like a light wash of nothingness — even for summer.
I don’t think of Smoky Canvas as being very summerish, but it would be a great winter palette for a clean tuxedo look or supplemented with a pop of blue, purple or rose/red (or w/taupes for a super smoky warmer look). It’s a workhorse palette and should be permanent, imho.
