CoverGirl Bronze Glow (770) Continuous Color Lipstick Review, Photos, Swatches
CoverGirl Bronze Glow (770) Continuous Color Lipstick
Quick Review: CoverGirl Bronze Glow (770) Continuous Color Lipstick
CoverGirl Bronze Glow (770) Continuous Color Lipstick ($5.49 for 0.13 oz.) is a coppery orange that applies nearly opaque with a slight frosted sheen. It’s creamy enough to apply evenly with little effort, and the color coverage is noteworthy for a drugstore brand. For me, the biggest was surprise was the lack of scent (or taste)–so many drugstore brands have the most synthetically sweet scents I’ve come across, which be a big turn off for some. The wear was average (four hours), and I didn’t find it drying, but I didn’t find it moisturizing either.
The packaging feels cheap, and it seems like it gets dinged up quite easily, as the inside is all scratched up, and this is photographed brand new. For the price tag, I think you sometimes have to give up nicer packaging, though.
Welcome to Swatch-all-idays! To start 2011 off on the right foot (or post, as it may be!), Temptalia is going through a backlog of products we have photographed, swatched, and often tested but in a slightly different manner. Quick reviews may be partially incomplete, such as a blush may only be swatched on the arm rather than shown on the face. It is our hope that what we are able to provide is still helpful!

absoluteöy gorgeous! 🙂
This might be a good, affordable alternative to MAC Thrills, which was LE and one of my faves!
Looks very nice on u, i was wondering if Covergirl tests on animals?
Do u know?
I know many does like PONDS and they even blocked me from facebook coz i asked them. But i heard Covergirl tests on animals too, i wonder if u know.
Thanks!
This looks great on you! Did you get new lighting or something? The picture looks different (in a good way – it’s a great pic!
It’s actually just the wrong foundation!
Ha, that’s so funny because to me, it looks like it photographs well. Interesting how something like a different foundation can make a subtle but noticeable difference in a photograph.
Yeah, it was about 4 shades too dark 🙁 I always meant to re-do the swatch, but I just never got around to it.
I wish I could pull off colours like this one! It looks fab on your skintone, Christine 🙂
The colour suits you, you look very pretty!
Thanks for the swatch. The color looks great on you. Love the color and I really like that it isn’t overly frosty.
I think this is a brilliant idea!
I’d want to do the same but I constantly rotate my collection -every few months I sell, swap, or give away products I don’t use often. It stinks though when I WANT the product again and then realize that it’s long gone.
The color is pretty for a bronze. Not too cool and just the right amount of warmth. It reminds me of Revlon’s moondrops shade bamboo bronze.I bet that shade would look great on you too.
wow such a gorgeous colour! i wish this was sold in europe
Love the colour and yes, I agree with the readers, really nice pic of you Christine. You look super sweet. 🙂
I like the color on you but it does not look like its moisturizing enough for my liking. Thanks for the review.
In a word: awful! O_O
That looks beautiful on you, a very healthy glow-y kind of impression! Then again you look beautiful with almost anything so in a sense it makes it harder for me to judge the product itself lol…
Amazing colour! Looks lovely on you!
I have tried for a long time to purchase the # 770 Bronze Glow and cannot find in any stores here in St. George, Utah. I have also tried in the Columbus, NE and Norfolk NE area. Can you help me? Thanks. Mary
