Have we been there, done that? Certainly. But these look decent and would make nice budget-friendly gifts for new-ish-bies who prefer certain colorways. Not sure I would associate the color stories with Y2K, but they’re cheerful and fun.
The Just a Glitch palette definitely looks like my nail polish collection circa 96-00, LOL. That was the only makeup I wore back then, and I also had some darker grungier colors.
Anybody else remember the Sweet Georgia Brown scented nail polish line? I had some purple ones that smelled like grape and brown ones that smelled like chocolate. Those things were awesome.
OMG… I haven’t thought of Sweet Georgia Brown polishes in forever! They were amazing! I had both shades you mentioned! ❤️
The pastels were the very first nail polishes I ever purchased back in ~1995
This is not authentic late 90s/early 00s, but it is cute.
How so? Those pastel purple and greens look exactly like the Jane eyeshadows I wore in middle school. It wasn’t all matte browns.
Oh my goodness, this is when I was in college, and I kind of love this.
In The Saddle and Just A Glitch are calling my name!
Cute! I love the names.
I love all three color stories ! Beautiful . I was kind of hoping the Urban Decay Cyber would be closer to this but sadly no . I might pick up one of these but I want to see the dupes.
I adore these color stories!
Gosh – these look like some of the old Rimmel and Revlon pastel quads that I use to purchase when I was a teenager, many decades ago (because there was literally nothing else around).
I think we have seen these shades many times as well in varying palettes and quads.
Of all the shade names they’ve reused…why “Love and Warhol”? (Unless that’s meant to be the same shade as it was previously, which it obviously isn’t!)
If the shades were a bit more greyed and icy they would have really hit it out of the park. The color stories are really similar to a couple of 99/00 collections from Maybelline and Cover Girl but they really missed how icy the more colorful stuff they were going for around that time was. A shame.
Definitely not for me but I love the theme! It looks great.
