ColourPop Xtra Celestial Collection Swatches

ColourPop Xtra Celestial Collection released last week and included three 9-pan palettes housed in clear, plastic compacts along with six shades in a new gloss formula. The palettes also feature two new finishes: “luminous Satin Pearl and “soft n’ gentle Sheer Sparkle.” There’s also a Super Shock Shadow in the center (“tie-dye”).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Hmmm – all of the palettes do have a very similar theme running through them -lots of soft pinky kind of colours with a couple of deeper neutrals. The new formulas in the satin pearl and soft sparkle will be interesting to see and read about.

These look very similar to Korean eyeshadow palettes. Not just the packaging but the layout and tones. I guess they’re trying to reach everything but that’s not surprising of CP. I’m a bit sad these palettes aren’t magnetic and the shades are a bit too pink for me. I think I’d rather buy from actual Korean brands. I’ve got my eye on some Chinese brands though!

So, I did a thing! I purchased two of the palettes and two of the lippies. I got Clearly in Love and Coast is Clear palettes and No Joke and Lucid Dreams for lippies. I don’t need any of them but I do like the color stories and figured with it being ColourPop, I couldn’t really lose if they weren’t good. They look like they swatched okay. I will keep my fingers crossed.
