Good point. Ever since I watched Thrifty Beauty’s video about the “pop effect” on YouTube, I’ve been noticing it everywhere. This palette is no exception. The blue definitely catches my eye, but the rest of the shades are meh. I have a single of a similar blue, so I can definitely dupe this palette with what I already own!

Oh, I don’t disagree. It doesn’t really go with the palette. But they’re using a pop of color to catch everyone’s eye. That’s what triggers people to buy it. Cover up that pop and most will see they have everything in this palette in their collection already.
As awesome as colourpop is, we’ve all seen this entire collection a million times over. I can dupe that entire palette with what I already have. This is underwhelming. The only interesting color is the blue. If you’re looking for blue shades you’re better off getting the Wet palette and its half the price.

Just snagged this one! For $18 and free shipping, I can handle that. The colours definitely look like something I have already, but Colourpop is such good quality for the price and the packaging on this is the cutest. I can’t wait to get it!
Well hello Bellini, aren’t you beautiful! I love the theme of this collection and the names of everything. I don’t feel excited about the palette because I feel like I already have similar CP shades and some of them I have multiples that are close enough to these. I haven’t tried the SuperNove shadows yet and they seem to have pretty decent reviews so I’ll throw Bellini into my next CP order — but seeing as I just made an order 2 weeks ago I’m going to be holding off for quite a bit.
I wonder how many people who don’t have those neutral shades already would be bold enough to wear that blue?
Honestly I find this quite boring. I don’t find all neutrals dull (I bought the CP Brown Sugar palette and really enjoy it and find it lovely) but this one, even with the blue, is just meh.
I almost bought it for the packaging but it’s too close to stuff I already have. SO adorable though!

Bellini might actually be what I’ve been looking for for a while, which is Rose Quartz from Anastasia Sultry in liquid form. Will probably get it next time I order from Colourpop.

The “@ me” lippie and the Bellini Supernova are very pretty. If I came across them in Ulta I just might toss them in the giant, disgustingly dirty, mesh Ulta shopper, carry them while shpppong around and then put them back before checking out.
This is beginning to look like a lot of Colour Pop’s palettes, apart from the blue shade – which actually I am not keen on. However, that Bellini lip gloss is beautiful.

I received an email from Colorpop and ended up ordering the whole set this morning! I’ve been wanting to try out their products. I’m the odd one out that doesn’t have a good neutral shade palette. I probably will never wear the blue but the swatch looks pretty. Thanks for showing off the swatches!
It’s all boring but even if I was slightly interested, the Advent calendar mess is enough for me to not want to give someone like her a bit of my money. I’m shocked that colourpop would even choose someone with so much controversy around her.
