ColourPop x Sailor Moon Cat's Eye Blush Review & Swatches
Cat's Eye
ColourPop Cat’s Eye Pressed Powder Blush ($12.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a medium pink-coral with a satin finish. It had very faint, golden pearl strewn through it that seemed to help it blend better on my skin but also gave it a subtle sheen–more of a “natural” finish than true matte but not overly shimmery. The texture was soft, blendable, and a little powdery in the pan, while the coverage was buildable from medium to mostly opaque (which is how the formula is marketed). It lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$12.00/0.28 oz. - $42.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

$12? Interesting
It’s a pretty shade, but I haven’t been happy with the powder blushes I’ve bought from CP in the past.
That packaging is pretty fantastic. If I were a collector this is an item I’d get and not ever want to touch so I could save the imprint. I don’t have a need for another coral blush right now (too many samples and too little time), but this is very cute.
Love the very natural looking glow this gives off! I must get this for that, plus the cat! ?
Very cute and pretty color. I’m annoyed when companies (and publications) put a light-colored or white font on top of a bright white/pink background however (as well as other weird font/background combinations that are difficult to read). I can’t read any of the ingredients on this blush but I’m not interested enough to pursue finding them elsewhere.
I love Luna, so I’ll probably pick this up. I’m not a big Colourpop user and only have eyeshadows from them, so I’m going in blind with their blushes and hope that it works out. It got a good rating from you, so that’s at least good, but $12 is pretty expensive for Colourpop, no doubt due to packaging.
Tempting and cute. But I already have MJB Kink Kisses and this looks close enough. But otherwise, $12 for a collector’s item isn’t bad.
Packaging is so cute and the shade is nice. I do like a light shimmer/sheen so this would be a possibility but I have so many blushes! I am still waiting for a shade that is truly unique and out of the norm. Maybe all shades have been done and I am waiting for nothing, LOL!
