ColourPop x Disney are back again for a collaboration for the upcoming Frozen II movie, which hits theatres on the 22nd (in the US). I’m still waiting on details about the release date and confirmation that the products will be sold separately (as they often are). The Elsa collection includes one Pressed Powder Palette, one lipstick, one lip gloss, and one body glitter.

Note, the palette contains one Pressed Glitter and two Pressed Pigments, which are all marked as not safe for the immediate eye area.

Might have to tape over the pressed glitter and deal, because I absolutely love this palette. Also, the lipstick looks like perfection for Elsa!
My qualm though is that many a tween will want this set. They won’t know how dangerous that pressed glitter is, and some will wind up with scratched or even cut corneas. This is beyond irresponsible on CP’s and Disney’s part. Leaves me with a very bad feeling about these.

Not only is it not eye safe, but it’s bad for the environment. I’d feel bad throwing it in the garbage knowing that it won’t break down and can go into the water stream. :/ I’ve been trying hard to avoid products with glitter lately.

This is EXACTLY why I am disappointed about this. It is the kind of thing my sister-in-law would buy for my tween nieces assuming they are eyeshadow palettes and can be used on they eye. I hope this doesn’t end in a poor little girl ending up blind in an eye…..

Nice concept, but I don’t like the artwork as it looks cheap and gimmicky (the same goes for Anna). They should have used the proper Disney images like periperi did back in the day.

I get why you’d want to have glitters in the collection for a Frozen themed collection. But you already have them in the Glitterally Obsessed. Why have them again in the palette? Flurry could just as easily been an iridescent blue/white/silver type of a shade.
