ColourPop x Disney Frozen II: Elsa Collection - Swatches
ColourPop x Disney are back again for a collaboration for the upcoming Frozen II movie, which hits theatres on the 22nd (in the US). I’m still waiting on details about the release date and confirmation that the products will be sold separately (as they often are). The Elsa collection includes one Pressed Powder Palette, one lipstick, one lip gloss, and one body glitter.
Note, the palette contains one Pressed Glitter and two Pressed Pigments, which are all marked as not safe for the immediate eye area.

This is so cute!! I wish my niece was old enough. This would be the best gift.
Might have to tape over the pressed glitter and deal, because I absolutely love this palette. Also, the lipstick looks like perfection for Elsa!
My qualm though is that many a tween will want this set. They won’t know how dangerous that pressed glitter is, and some will wind up with scratched or even cut corneas. This is beyond irresponsible on CP’s and Disney’s part. Leaves me with a very bad feeling about these.
Hopefully it is magnetic and they can just be popped out of the palette. I threw away all of the glitter shades in the other 9 pans.
I hope so too, Cameron. These are just the name of my existence because of the risk they pose. This time is different, though. This time it’s kids they’re pandering to. They won’t want to get rid of the glitters, I fear. Parents may not fully be aware of the risks either.
Not only is it not eye safe, but it’s bad for the environment. I’d feel bad throwing it in the garbage knowing that it won’t break down and can go into the water stream. :/ I’ve been trying hard to avoid products with glitter lately.
That too, Christina. It’s just bad all around. I’ve made this one suggestion in the recent past, that we who are against them putting glitters in our palettes scoop them out, put them in baggies, and send them BACK to ColourPop (or whoever) stating our dislike of these in a powerful way. Might work.
This is EXACTLY why I am disappointed about this. It is the kind of thing my sister-in-law would buy for my tween nieces assuming they are eyeshadow palettes and can be used on they eye. I hope this doesn’t end in a poor little girl ending up blind in an eye…..
While I like the theme of this palette, I feel like once you remove the pressed glitter’s from the palette, there are far too many light shades and the one transition shade would not work for everybody. I think this is a missed opportunity.
I am sure I have several dupes for Little Snow, but it’s Frozen, so will likely pick it up.
Nice concept, but I don’t like the artwork as it looks cheap and gimmicky (the same goes for Anna). They should have used the proper Disney images like periperi did back in the day.
Although I’m a Disney fan, I’m not a fan of the movie Frozen, but I quite like the color profile in this palette (except for the glitter). And Little Snow is beautiful!
Another pressed glitter disaster….the only shades that seem nice to me are Northern Lights and Ice Crystals. Sad to say, but the blue shade representing Water is a faint blue matte….
I love how this palette and Little Snow look!
Why waste the space of using the non-eye-safe glitters? Putting all eyeshadows in the palette would have made this palette so much better. The glitter makes this a no-buy for me.
I love the color scheme of this palette. At least the glitters are pretty.
I get why you’d want to have glitters in the collection for a Frozen themed collection. But you already have them in the Glitterally Obsessed. Why have them again in the palette? Flurry could just as easily been an iridescent blue/white/silver type of a shade.
