ColourPop x Becky G Hola Chola Collection launches today at 10AM PT, and here are swatches just ahead of the launch! The collection features a new eyeshadow palette, three lip duos (I’m not sure if they’ll be sold individually or not), two bronzers, one liquid eyeliner (not shown), and one gloss (not shown).

Light Plus, Neutral undertones. Dry skin.

Hot on the heels of the mega nude palette, I would have put more space between these releases, or put something entirely different between.

I won’t be getting this since I have so many neutrals, but I think the theme is so cute. It gives me nostalgia for high school, when I met people for the first time who embraced cholo subculture.

Call me crazy, but I’m definitely interested in this collection! Particularly the palette, because high quality mattes, and also LA blush (yes, technically a bronzer, but I’ll be using it as a blush). The lip sets worry me. That liquid matte formula is too dry for me. Unless they modified it.

I was told that at some point Colourpop changed their liquid matte formula to be the same as the original Kylie formula when Kylie changed her formula. I do not know if this is true but I haven’t seen people disliking their liquid mattes as much as the originals when they released. So maybe it’s worth trying one if you really like a shade?

Supposedly they’ve recently reformulated the liquid mattes. I bought the Muñeca kit, so I guess I’ll be finding out!

This is a nice collection. Even though the palette isn’t really my usual kind of color scheme, I’m kind of digging it. The lip colors are pretty. I’m not familiar with Becky G, other than she is a singer and Latina. She did a cute take on the look with this collection, I think.

Like this entirely matte palette! It’s not often I see all mattes from Colourpop. I think the palette and bronzers are perfect go-tos for someone with Becky G’s skintone. I’d pass for myself but would buy for gifting.

It can’t be a week that goes by without CP releasing a whole new collection – personally, I wish they would have a break…..
Anyway, I am not fussed with these shades (all matte) and the colours seem a bit run down – caramel and grey, burnt orange – not exactly cohesive or wow-ish.

Definitely an interesting palette. I really like the color story on this one; I especially like the grays and reds. But I don’t want to buy it, because I have plenty of neutrals anyway and I don’t want to feel like I’m encouraging ColourPop to continuously churn out product.

So it’s an easy pass, though I do like the palette.

Love the theme and packaging of this collection! So nostalgic for me. If I needed a bronzer, I might have considered 310 for the name alone. Also appreciate seeing an all-matte palette from ColourPop (it gives me Viseart/Natasha Denona vibes). Not crazy about the return of rollerball gloss though, lol
