Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Since I still have my beach-themed UD palette from awhile back and really only love Catamaran and Pier Love out of the 4 shades, I’m on the fence with this quad…but 🌊🌅🏖️
What a gorgeous little blue toned quad – perhaps Pier Love is a bit too dark, but the rest of the quad is quite cohesive.
Other than A Dip, all of these are incredible. Really pretty.
It’s fantastic! I think I have a MAC matte that matches the darkest shade and Urban Decay dupes for the other 3 , a matte called Electric or Hynotic or something, and yes the shimmers from that ocean themed palette.
Still this tempts me because here they are, fresh, all together.
Wonder if anyone else feels like this: I REALLY like these colors visually, but on me and even though I like the peacock colors, I steer clear of the popping blues (turquoise, light blues, vibrant true blues). Except for Pier Love (a really nice smokey eye color), I’d rarely wear these, so a no go for me. But I DO enjoy looking at the palette.
