ColourPop Star Fruity Eyeshadow Quad Review & Swatches
Star Fruity
ColourPop Star Fruity Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($9.00 for 0.21 oz.) includes two true matte shades, one sparkly-matte, and one shimmer shade. They had semi-opaque to opaque color coverage, were blendable and longer-wearing, though there was a bit of powderiness throughout the mattes and more slip in the shimmer than ideal.

Juice Cleanse
Juice Cleanse is a soft, peachy-brown with warmer, more golden undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had larger gold sparkles throughout a more matte base, so the sparkles resulted in light fallout and very little that translated to the lid. It had opaque color coverage that showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Bright Slice
Bright Slice is a very light and bright chartreuse with warm, yellowy undertones and slightly darker, greener shimmer throughout. It had a more emollient texture that had moderate glide, so it applied most evenly with a fingertip or a dampened brush as a dry brush seemed more prone to pushing pigment around. It lasted well for eight hours before fading visibly.

You're a Star
You’re a Star is a light-medium olive green with muted, warm undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, blendable texture that was lightly powdery in the pan but finely-milled enough not to have visible fallout during application. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Subtropical
Subtropical is a deep, richer brown with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well. The texture was soft, lightly powdery but not prone to sheering out or having fallout (so long as one tapped off excess prior to application). It wore well for eight hours before fading a bit on me.

The quality is there, but I don’t particularly think the colour story works. It’s probably that caramel shade that seems to jar and I wish that Bright Slice could have been a bit brighter…
Love this shade combo, but I am quite sure that I don’t need it. These are all shades I already own. But, I’m a green and purple freak!
I know this is for star fruit, but it looks like it could be a quad for Baby Yoda! It matches him perfectly.
I feel like it makes more sense for this to be for a kiwi than a starfruit.
This is more kiwi to me…also I swear my juice cleanse shade has green sparkles and not gold..
I was considering “in the limelight” but I don’t know if I’d get enough use out of a 9 pan. This is the perfect counterpart to that with its compact size, I love these greens but it’s not something I’d reach for often.
