ColourPop So Au Naturel Eyeshadow Quad Review & Swatches
Au Naturel
ColourPop So Au Naturel Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($9.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a new, all-matte, neutral eyeshadow quad with a warmer, more orange-based color story that leaned more mid-depth and deeper. All four shades were pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing with the biggest “con” being that the formula was lightly to moderately powdery, so using a lighter hand or tapping off excess would be ideal. They were more of a velvety-matte, which gave them a denser, more substantial feel.

PPermanent. $9.00.
Laid Back
Laid Back is a bright, light orange with strong, warm yellow undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was somewhat powdery, so I’d recommend tapping off excess and using a lighter touch when picking up. It had opaque color coverage that wasn’t prone to sheering out. It lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Livin’ is a medium-dark brown with soft, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage with a soft, smooth consistency that was lightly powdery in the pan but proved to be blendable and not prone to sheering out on my lid. It lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Again, remember that question about what we’d like to see for autumn? If I didn’t think I had some possible dupes, I really might get this fall leaves palette!
Another well rated basic matte quad in very warm shades.
