ColourPop Petal Pusher Blush Review & Swatches
Petal Pusher
ColourPop Petal Pusher Pressed Powder Blush ($8.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a bright, light-medium cotton candy pink with strong, blue undertones and a matte finish. It had medium, buildable pigmentation, which was as marketed, paired with a soft, lightly powdery texture that was finely-milled and a little on the thin side. The blush applied evenly to bare skin and blended out without issues. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.

The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

Well, I love it on you, but I know that I would hate it on me! I do have UD X-rated, and even that one just looks off on me unless it’s winter and I get down to a NW30 for several months if I’m lucky.
This is a little beauty of a blush. I really like it and think I’d get a lot of use for it or a similarly coloured one. I’ll have to examine the dupes to see if I can find one close enough, or even prettier, that’s sold in the EU.
Not that I can’t buy from CP, it’s just the shipping and the rest that makes it less appealing.
