ColourPop Ornate 9-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($14.00 for 0.36 oz.) is a darker, more red and copper-based color story that included five matte eyeshadows, one sparkly matte eyeshadow, and three shimmer eyeshadows. All nine eyeshadows had semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation, were blendable, and had decent longevity. A few shades, though, were a little more on the powdery side or felt more loosely-pressed, so I’d recommend using a lighter hand when working with this palette.

Shhh
Shhh is a medium-dark, reddish-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had nearly opaque pigmentation that applied well to bare skin with a smooth, even lay down of product that diffused well along the edges. The texture was soft, lightly powdery but not overly prone to fallout. This shade stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Ornate looks very rich and lush. Good thing for me that I have enough similar color stories going on around my sock drawer, LOL!
It’s a “maybe”.
My favourite shade here is Charisma.. one of those slightly duller intense matte colours I really like. I do not have a dupe for it, but the rest I do.
Another really good value palette – even though the colour story continues to be reds… My favourite shades were the shimmery ones – Gilded, Fever and Boheme. The mattes looked pretty good too.
Every time I see this palette, including in person, Dream looks like an empty well, ha ha. (Plenty of CP palette testers have had pans fall out, and it looks pretty similar!)
