ColourPop On the List Palette Review & Swatches

On the List
ColourPop On the List 12-Pan Pressed Powder Shadow Palette ($18.00 for 0.3 oz.) is a new, Ultra-exclusive palette that included seven matte shades and five shimmer shades across a darker, earthy color story. The products performed consistently with the brand’s eyeshadow formula; the matte shades were pigmented, blendable, and a little powdery, while the shimmers (except one) were pigmented, blendable, and picked up well with a dry brush.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Fixed, thanks Jo!
Ooh…I don’t know. This is so pretty, but I am well aware that I can dupe the whole palette with what I have. But, yeah, it sure is a gorgeous one!
A pretty good palette – nice to see some green shades in there too.
I kind of love it. I’m actually going to be near an Ulta on Thursday; I’ll probably pop in and see 8f they have it in-store!
I think this is really pretty.
I really like this color story. It does seem like something that would be more appropriate to launch during Spring rather than mid-August though. But it’s ColourPop, so who knows if there’s any reasoning behind their launches.
The ropes is a really interesting green. I find this more interesting looking as a whole rather than individual swatches.
