ColourPop Meteorite, Take Flight, Karat Cake, Baby Lights, Wishful Thinking Pressed Powder Shadows Reviews & Swatches
Meteorite
ColourPop Meteorite Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark orange-red with warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage that adhered evenly to my lid and blended out easily along the edges. The texture was soft, smooth, and wasn’t too powdery nor too firmly pressed in the pan. It lasted well for eight and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Take Flight
ColourPop Take Flight Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a vibrant, medium yellow with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had excellent pigmentation in a single layer paired with a soft, velvety consistency that was a smidgen powdery in the pan. I noticed it sheered out a ltitle as I blended out on bare skin, but it didn’t have that issue used over primer. This shade stayed on well for eight hours on me and stained just a touch (gone after I washed my face the following morning).

Karat Cake
ColourPop Karat Cake Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a rich, medium gold with warm undertones and a metallic finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was easy to pick up and to apply to bare skin. The eyeshadow applied evenly and blended out nicely along the edges. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading slightly.

Baby Lights
ColourPop Baby Lights Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, medium gold with warmer undertones and cooler, green-gold shimmer. There was a subtle shift, but it was very hard to see in most instances–it tended to look more warmer gold on me. The texture was soft, blendable, and just a little dry, though it didn’t impact the application or wear. It had opaque pigmentation that lasted well for eight hours on me.

Wishful Winking
ColourPop Wishful Winking Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a deep, reddish-brown base with green-to-teal shifting pearl. It had good color coverage that adhered well to bare skin, but I felt like the texture was a little more emollient than ideal, so it required a little extra love to diffuse the edge for a more seamless look. It stayed on well for eight hours on me before fading a bit.

These look superb – the name Karat Cake makes me giggle though!
Just brilliant shades, especially Baby Lights. Gorgeous eye looks Christine too.
The 2 that I am finding a little bit tempting are Meteorite and Karat Cake! I could see having them to use in conjunction with my Yes, Please palette.
Ooh pretty colors! I really love Meteorite, so probably have that. I want Baby Lights, but I need to check if I have a dupe of it first. Which I probably do.
