ColourPop Lovely, On the Rocks, Mooning, Bandit Super Shock Shadows Reviews, Photos, Swatches
ColourPop Lovely Super Shock Shadow
ColourPop Lovely Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “soft light gold with … flecks of … glitter.” It’s a sparkling, light-medium gold with a glittery, metallic finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff, though the consistency was very smooth and lightly creamy, so it blended well on the skin. The color payoff was buildable to more opaque coverage, but there’s a fine line as you build to avoid it thickening as well. It lasted for nine hours but had noticeable fall out. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
ColourPop On the Rocks Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “vibrant true bronze with gold and violet glitter.” It’s a brightened coppery bronze with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. There was slight glitter in it, too, but it seemed primarily metallic applied. It was nicely pigmented, while the formula was creamy, blendable, and wore well for ten hours. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
ColourPop Mooning Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “rich blackened bronze … with … pearlized glitter.” It’s a deepened bronze-shimmered brown with fine sparkle and a frost finish. It had rich color payoff that went on evenly with smooth color application. It wore well for ten hours before fading, but there was minor fall out. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
ColourPop Bandit Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “warm rusty brown with a matte finish.” It’s a medium-dark brown with warm, red-orange undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had good color payoff that applied evenly and smoothly. It blends well on the skin, though it is more prone to sheering out slightly compared to the more shimmery shades in the range. It wore well for nine hours before creasing slightly. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Amazing look Christine!!!
So pretty!
Thank you, Aliki!
Wow, I love the eye look you did!! These are totally gorgeous neutrals with depth and dimension. For $5, they are beating the heck out of more expensive brands (hope Hourglass is taking notes). Go ColourPop!
So true, haha! ColourPop/MUFE have been my go-tos for “let’s test something that might actually be good!”
Those three browns look beautiful. *Do not need, I do not need, I do not need.*
Aren’t they? Really rich without being too bold or too subtle.
Such gorgeous browns. On the Rocks and Mooning are fantastic.
The shimmer/sparkle really make them!
I don’t know how I’m ever going to choose which Colorpop shadows to try.. there’s so many nice shades!
That is how I ended up with so many initially, lol!
Thank you very much for your job.
MOONING has just been included on my buying list.
Happy to share 😀
I was thinking “meh” to these colors until I saw your eye look – you really made them look enticing!! Bravo!
Thanks, Bonnie!
Mooning reads so much more red in the pan
I can see what you mean!
Even though it’s not my color, I love hos smooth and pigmented Bandit is.
HOW…
It is very smooth!
I love your reviews. Always on point and the images are perfect as you show swatches and on your face too!
Thank you, Vania! 🙂
Such nice, warm, pigmented shades…and so inexpensive! I’ll order some one day if I can ever narrow down what I want first! They all look great!
Mooning and on the rocks are lovely .. the strategically placed shimmers in the formula adds on to the beauty of the shade.. beautiful eye look dear 🙂
Are you using any brushes with these colour pop shadows? I’ve tried Makeup Geeks’s brushes since they are synthetic, but they are not working for me. I’ve been applying them with my fingers to the lid, but for better application and precision, I would like to use a brush.
I use brushes. I don’t like using my fingers personally!
Gah, just made my Colourpop order. So pretty.
Oh I love how these colors look together, they blend together so nicely.
.
this is gorgeous. I’m going to add these to my list.
Mooning, Bandit and On the Rocks look like must haves!
Pleeeeeeeease stop tempting me 🙁 hahaha I want to try these so badly
Damn, these look gorgeous. I’m gonna steal this look.
The Minx Society Night Out set (Girly/Get Lucky/On The Rocks/Roulette) is FREE right now on the Colour Pop website!! I just paid $4.99 shipping!
