ColourPop Jelly Much Shadows Swatches - New Shades for Spring 2023
ColourPop Jelly Much Shadows have a new core range of shades, including seven new shades (the rest are returning). I’ve marked my calendar to check these in six months (left them in the cupboard ’til then) and see how they feel, because this packaging has proven problematic in the past due to drying out too quickly 🙁 I wish these were in tubes! Here are swatches of the new shades (I thought Mystical was new, but it wasn’t, that’s why there are eight shown in the group photos!) —
I really wanted to love the Jelly much shadows but I was so disappointed when mine dried up after just a month. Also it’s so dry and just gets everywhere . I don’t think I will ever buy another one again . I tried a jelly shadow from Makeup Revolution that was inside the birds of paradise palette ( I’ve had for 3 years ) and it’s still very squishy!
Brentwood appeals beacause I just love those bronzey shades, but the jelly kind of formula doesn’t.
Duckling is very pretty.
As I’ve read about the problem with these drying out, I hope for good dupes. 😉
They can be revived but I would also prefer if they came in a tube format. They would be so much easier to use and apply!
Whats the best way to revive these jelly much shadows ? I’ve heard some type of oil works but was wondering what other options would work ?
Oil can be used on the SSS but not the jelly much shadows. Colourpop recommends using distilled water.
Any advice is welcomed! I have try to revive the Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder eyeshadow in the pot Blonde Gold 02 with Duraline, (it dried up within a month) but I’m not very happy with the results…
Unless they’ve changed the formula significantly, I’ll stick to the Super Shocks. These are the most gorgeous colours, but having to “reactivate” them all the time drives me bonkers! I might buy Big Ego once more, though, because it’s the closest dupe I’ve found for the DC’d Super Shock Half Light, which is one of my all time favourites.
I love my jelly much shadows! They do dry out, but I just put in a couple of drops of contact solution and they’re good as new.
