ColourPop HoneyDude & Teaspoon Creme Gel Liners Reviews, Photos, Swatches
ColourPop HoneyDude Creme Gel Liner
ColourPop Honeydude Creme Gel Liner ($6.00 for 0.01 oz.) is described as a “creamy warm nude.” It’s a light peachy-beige with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, and it adhered well to both the waterline and lower lash line. It wore well for seven hours on the waterline, nine hours on the lower lash line. MAC Risque (P, $17.00) is warmer (95% similar). Natasha Denona Nude (P, $24.00) is cooler (90% similar). Sephora Coconut (DC, $10.00) is darker (90% similar). Haus Labs Beige Matte (P, $22.00) is warmer (90% similar). KVD Beauty Swanly (P, $18.00)(90% similar). Charlotte Tilbury Nude (PiP, ) is darker (85% similar). LORAC Nude (P, $20.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). Urban Decay Walk of Shame (P, $20.00) is darker (90% similar). NARS Rue Bonaparte (P, $24.00) is lighter, cooler (85% similar). Sephora Coconut (54) (P, $11.00) is darker (80% similar). Moira Peach (P, $5.00) is darker, cooler (80% similar). NARS Rue Bonaparte (P, $24.00) is lighter (85% similar). ColourPop Teaspoon Creme Gel Liner ($6.00 for 0.01 oz.) is described as an “intense emerald green.” It’s a muted, medium-dark green with cool undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff in a single pass, which may have been due to the texture that felt a little drier compared to other shades I’ve tried in this formula. It builds up fairly well, so opaque coverage is possible. The color lasted for eight hours on me. KVD Beauty Lemmy (P, $18.00) is darker, warmer (95% similar). ColourPop Teaspoon (LE, $7.00) is brighter (95% similar). About Face Call Me Crazy (P, $13.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). Haus Labs Grime (P, $18.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar). Buxom Ring My Bell (P, $17.00) is darker (85% similar). Sephora Indulge Yourself (22) (DC, $10.00) is more shimmery, lighter, warmer (80% similar). Melt Cosmetics Fortuna (P, $19.00) is darker, cooler (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

HoneyDude looks great for the lower waterline.
It should be!
How does Honeydude compare to other waterline pencils in terms of wear?
I don’t really remember off-hand what everything wears for, but seven hours would be good given most eyeliners wear around eight hours in general.
I love the color of Teaspoon, but considering how often their pencils arrive to me broken, I’ll probably go for the pot version.
I have yet to have a pencil arrive DOA (knock on wood), but I have heard about this happening.
Honeydude’s 7 hour weartime on the waterline has me sold! That’s what I wish I could get from my other light beige eye pencils that come in handy to make my eyes appear larger and more “open”.
Have you ever tried MAC Chromagraphic? They have two flesh-toned eyeliners – those are some of the best waterline/brightening ones I’ve tried.
Not yet, I haven’t! Sounds worth a definate consideration on my part, though. Especially if it gets great wear time on my watery eyes.
Seven hours on the waterline? WOW. There may be hope for me LOL.
Aw! I would say the normal wear time for me is 3-4 hours with a so-so formula, but there are a few formulas I can get 6-8 hours with!
Honey Dude looks like a very versatile product -could be used on lash line to brighten up the eyes, waterline to make eyes look bigger , and as spot concealer if your skintone is close
It is great for brightening!
I hate to say it but I think Honey Dude would be too warm for me.
I’m always surprised at how peachy the “nude” eyeliners look!
You accidentally wrote “Colourpop Descano” instead of “Colourpop Honeydude” in the description!
SO sorry, Ivy!
Honeydude looks like a must-have! I’ve never tried Colourpop before, so maybe this is time to start looking at swatches and reading some reviews!
Good idea!
Oooh! I may have to pick up HoneyDude! I’ve been looking for a warmer nude eyeliner.
