Fly Away
ColourPop Fly Away 5-Pan Pressed Powder Palette ($10.00 for 0.15 oz.) includes two shimmery eyeshadows with three matte eyeshadows. It was green-leaning, though supported by two more neutral tones. All five shades were semi-opaque to opaque in coverage, blendable, and wore for eight hours on me. They performed consistently with ColourPop’s eyeshadow formula.
This palette is one of five in a holiday vault, though ColourPop said they would be available individually when I asked, but they have not appeared individually on the site. It’s not realistic for me to review it as a set (takes much longer, but I also started testing them across sets already, and the system is better setup for a palette, not five palettes within a set, for readability!), so I decided to review them individually still.

Twirl
Twirl is a light green with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic finish. The eyeshadow had a soft, more loosely-pressed texture with a touch of dryness, so I had to take care to avoid fallout. It had opaque color coverage that wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Hover is a light, peachy brown with muted, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had a soft, lightly powdery consistency that had a touch of fallout if I wasn’t careful, but it was blendable and delivered full color payoff in one layer. It lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Worldly is a muted, medium olive green with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque, buildable color payoff that applied evenly and diffused well along the edges. The texture was smooth and finely-milled with minimal powderiness, so it was easy to work with. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Astral Lands is GORGEOUS!!!!
I hardly ever wear greens but I’m all about the golds and this is a glorious mesh of the two. Stunning.
Now this is one I would use year-round, as it fits all seasons in my mind. Oh, and we know that I’m a sucker for really good green-based palette!
Immediately brings ND Mini Gold to mind.
This is quite an interesting little gem, with the two green shimmery shades of really good quality. Love Astral Lands – that’s the hero of this palette for sure.
I know I have dupes for most of these shades, but if they sold Astral Lands as a single it would be in my cart as we speak. 😍
