ColourPop Fire Super Shock (Highlighter) Review & Swatches
Fire
ColourPop Fire Super Shock Cheek (Highlighter) ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a medium-dark, peachy gold with strong, warm orange undertones and a pearly sheen. It was a subtle, highlighting blush on my light-medium skin, but those who are medium or deeper will find it a true highlighter while fairer complexions will find it adds noticeable color and warmth. The texture was smooth, lightly emollient and a touch wet to the touch that presses down like a sponge.
It yielded more opaque color coverage when applied with fingertips and more buildable coverage when applied with brushes, which is how the formula is marketed. The highlighter applied evenly to bare skin and barely needed to be blended as it just went on so nicely. It had a moderate sheen and slight shimmer but didn’t accentuate my skin’s natural texture. It wore well for 10 hours without fading on me.
This shade launches on July 26th at 10AM PST.

Because I *really* love this particular highlighter, guess what? I’ve got 2 dupes right from ColourPop themselves: Highly Waisted and Tock.
That aside, Fire is a stunner! (so is that eye look you’re rocking!)
Can I just say Christine that I agree with your husband – “Colourpop is so good why use anything else” lol. Since they have added an entire section of Colourpop at the Ulta store I go to (and it keeps growing with more products!!) I’ve fallen in love with super shock shadows. They are just great across the board for the price, quality and amount. Everyday I want to dig in my colourpop stash for a shadow. I haven’t tried the highlighters yet but they are next on my list (don’t care for the liquid lipstick as they never worked for me) but everything else is great so far.
Oooh, if you like the Super Shock Shadows, then the Super Shock Highlighters are particularly similar to the more pearly/metallic Super Shock Shadows, maybe a smidgen more “wet” to the touch but the same texture + feel on the skin.
