ColourPop Fall 2019 Swatches: Pressed Powder Shadows & Pressed Pigments

For the fall, ColourPop added new single shadows–a mix of regular eyeshadows and Pressed Pigments–along with one new Pressed Glitter (Sugar Free). Here are swatches of all 30 new shades! A few shades are repromotes from past releases (but I believe they’re new to the single format).

Not to sound dumb, but in the context of eyeshadow, can you explain again the difference between pressed powder and pressed pigment? And is it a pigment that could possibly not be safe for eyes, whereas pressed powders always are? Do some brands use the term differently from other brands?
Correct – Pressed Pigments are not intended for the eye area.
You would need to double check any/every brand – there’s no legal definition of “pressed pigment,” therefore there’s no one meaning.
Thanks Christine.
Kitty I’m glad you asked that. I can never remember their vague definitions, as all pressed eyeshadows essentially contain pressed pigments.
Hmm – lots and lots of oranges, reds and pinks here…..
That’s what I was thinking Genevieve, and warm, warm, warm.
Warm is right! So much warm… lol.
You know you are overstashed, if you have 3 shadows named Trooper. Nothing earth shattering here, but many will find a shade or two to fill in holes in stash. At times, it is hard to believe that CP has only been around since 2014. Meteoric.
I like The Most the most! LOL
