ColourPop Currently Pressed Powder Blush Review, Photos, Swatches

ColourPop Currently Pressed Powder Blush ($8.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark brown with warm, reddish undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation (up to semi-opaque) with a powdery consistency that was a little thin and drier to the touch. It applied better than I expected, based on the texture, though it wasn’t the most blendable formula. The powder sat flatteringly on my skin and lasted for eight hours on me.

Formula Overview
$12.00/0.28 oz. - $42.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

This is pretty on you. Looks very festive!
Finally, a really nice one from CP powder blushes! Not sure how close it comes to my MAC Taraji Glow, but I’ll check the “side by side” just to be safe. For $8, this looks pretty darn good!
Not for me, but it does look better on the cheeks than it did swatched.
Too dark/orange for my skin as a blush, but a great shade were it formulated for an eyeshadow. I shall do some exploring on the ‘compare swatches’ function to see what eyeshadows might be comparable color.
