Flame-Blown Lite
Clionadh Flame-Blown Lite Jewelled Lite Multichrome Eyeshadow ($19.00 for 0.052 oz.) has a mid-tone, gray base with a multichrome shift that went from violet purple to warmer, pink-leaning purple to murky olive to darker, emerald green. The eyeshadow had an intensely metallic finish with fine sparkle throughout.
The Lite version had very similar shifts but appeared three steps lighter and didn’t go as violet at the most extreme edge of the shift.
- Opaque pigmentation
- Smooth, lightly creamy, very finely-milled
- Slightly softer press but not prone to fallout or breakage
- Picked up and applied evenly, blended out well
- Long-wearing (9 hours before fading noticeably)

Formula Overview
$19.00/0.05 oz. - $380.00 Per Ounce
The formula is designed to have a gray base while still retaining an intense shift; the gray base is supposed to--and does--make it easier to diffuse and blend out the eyeshadow without muting the shifts while doing so. The Lites are also "brighter and more shimmering," which I found more accurate. They had a more reflective finish and were a bit more textured as a result of the shimmer, but I'd describe them as glowing whereas the original Jewelled shades had a smoother sheen.
The consistency was smooth to the touch, dense without being firmly-pressed in the pan, and easy to pick up with a brush for an even application on the lid. I had no trouble applying or diffusing the edges, and they were easier to diffuse/blend out along those edges than the black-based multichromes. The eyeshadows were intensely pigmented.
On me, the formula lasted closer to nine hours on average before showing signs of fading. There was minimal fallout, if that, during application but not during wear.

Smoulder Lite
Clionadh Smoulder Lite Jewelled Lite Multichrome Eyeshadow ($19.00 for 0.052 oz.) had a soft, grayer base with multichrome shift that went from rich, pinky-purple to orange to gold to warmer green to cooler-toned green paired with a highly shimmered, metallic finish.
The Lite version was very, very similar in shifts; it just ended up being less black-based and lighter overall, and the impact of the higher shimmer content gave it a glowier look when blended out.

These are just magical!
No other word for these except gorgeous. Before I stopped using makeup I placed my one and only order to Clionadh Cosmetics and mostly ordered from their Stained Glass Collection. I am anxious to see what is new and place an order. I know at the time, orders were taking quite a long time to ship as they were quite a small operation and I think I purchased in like late August and they shipped in November. I remember being concerned that they would not arrive before Christmas as I was going to use them in my daughter’s advent calendar and the company assured me that they would get them to me regardless of whatever else was happening. I really appreciated the good customer service. It looks like their quality has remained excellent. So nice to see from what started as a home grown business.
This collection is beautiful! They’re very sparkly and the gray base seems more user friendly than a black base 🙂
All of them are absolutely beautiful, and much easier to wear if one has some difficulty wearing the really gorgeous richer versions! My personal favorite is Smoulder Light because of the purple and green shifts in it.
Aren’t these just gorgeous? Especially Forge Lite!
The side-by-side swatches of these are so helpful!! Thank you!
Okay Smolder Lite and I forgot to say before, Ferric (not here), yes, yes, yes, and YES!
