Clinique Nude Pop Cheek Pop Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Nude Pop
Clinique Nude Pop Cheek Pop Blush ($25.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light-medium, muted, peach-brown with a soft, shimmery finish and warm undertones. It is definitely one of the lighter, subtler shades in the range–both in the pan and as applied, as the color is true-to-pan–and will be a great option for those with fairer complexions who want something that’s easy to use and won’t require a light hand. On the other side, for deeper skin tones, it may only add a warm-toned sheen overall without adding noticeable color.
I have medium-colored skin with warmer, yellow undertones, and I get subtle color and a luminous sheen that doesn’t emphasize pores. It’s the type of color I’d reach for often when wearing really bold eyes or lips. This is one of the more shimmery Cheek Pops when swatched (think Peach Pop), but it doesn’t look shimmery or frosted on the skin. The texture was soft, smooth, and easily blended on the skin. Every time I use a Cheek Pop, I’m just reminded at how easy it is to use these and get a beautiful finish out of the product. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading slightly.

Formula Overview
$21.00/0.12 oz. - $175.00 Per Ounce
The formula is described as “vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless.” The texture was smooth, soft, and dense, so it was never powdery in the pan or on the skin. The blush had good color payoff that was easily sheered out (or you could apply less, as the denser texture makes that easy to control).
It’s the kind of texture that almost blends itself as soon as you start applying and working it onto the skin. The finish became more luminous as I blended the powder onto the skin, but it was never shiny or overly shimmery, so it always looked smooth on my skin and did not emphasize pores or my skin’s texture. Most shades lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

That is gorgeous! Perfect when you want just a hint of some color on your cheeks. Love the finish!
Yup – definitely know I’ll reach for this one!
Beautiful color. Would you recommend this for MAC NC 42 skintone? Also what’s on your lips? I am loving the entire look.
I think it may be too subtle on NC42, but it might be worth trying in-store if you can.
THE MAKEUP LOOK
On face: IT Cosmetics CC Illumination Cream, Urban Decay Naked Loose Setting Powder, Clinique Nude Pop Cheek Pop. On eyes: It Cosmetics Pretty in Spring Eyeshadow Trio; Sephora Cocoa Eyeliner. On lips: ColourPop Tootsie Lippie Stix.
This one is coming home with me. So far my favorite nude.
YAYYYY!
This is perfect – this is what I wish Tarte Exposed was for me. I love Exposed – but it’s sometimes too pink. This might be a must buy.
Woohoo! 😀
And on the opposite side , I was hoping for a dupe of Tarte Exposed because Tarte not sell – sent in Greece. How funny! My father was saying, all things have their buyer.
Pretty. This would a nice, subtle color for lighter skin tones. No worries about clown cheeks!
So true!
Gorgeous! I think this one and the lavender are my favorites of the new ones so far! But, I love them all! 🙂
I’ve yet to meet one I don’t like!
I have been lusting over these from afar but I think I’ll actually get this one! I thought it would be mauvey like Tarte Exposed but I love that it’s more of a warm beige. It looks to me like a darker version of Nars Nico, which I actually use as a subtle bronzer. I think this will really work for me. I have nothing like it and it will pair well with the Poured Rose Gold I just got!
So glad this one seems like it’s going to work for you, GInny!
It’s a pretty subtle color, but the luminous finish looks really nice.
It has a fantastic finish!
Yep going to need ALL of the new shades. I really prefer more muter blush shades, so these are sadly going to kill my wallet. 🙂
Muted*
Poor wallet!
Love. It looks like a great neutral blush.
Agreed!
Being the shade of glow-in-the-dark pale that I am this blush really interests me.
I think it’ll be great on very fair skin! 🙂
The swatch had me worried (because of the frost) but it looks quite lovely, applied on the cheeks!
Me too!!
Another really light one… but pretty!
It is!
How pretty! Looks a bit too much like MAC Warm Soul (to me at least), so I think I’ll pass! So in love with the range nonetheless!
Always good to have a few options 😀
I just got this and MAC Warm Soul is my fave!
Warm Soul is more red-bronzy rather than the Clinique being less red and more tan, and the MAC has bigger chunks of glitter.
YAAASSSSSSSSS! That summarizes all of my thoughts regarding this product. Thank you for your review!!! You look fab!
My pleasure, Elena!
So glad I picked this one up.. at first glance at the product picture, I thought it might have been a miss..it looked more peachy than I wanted, but seeing it on you in your photos, it’s a bit like a highlighter and blush combined and I really like it.
I think it’ll work well for you, Wendy!
I don’t understand. Can I buy it in stores as well? Or is it a Sephora exclusive limited edition? I’m from Europe, I can’t order from Sephora anyway. But I really want this shade.
Sorry, A, I don’t have any info from Clinique. I have only seen it on Clinique and Sephora’s websites.
From what I’ve read elsewhere, Nude & Cola are Sephora “exclusives”, but the others will be sold elsewhere. Perhaps they’ll be released all over, or maybe under a different name for the European market.
What an excellent alternative to Jersey! I might get this instead!
Awesome!
That looks so pretty! I’m glad I took the chance and ordered that shade, can’t wait to get them.
Woohoo!
I *love* tarte Muse, so this will be a great replacement! Also, I was torn between MAC Baby Don’t Go & Blushbaby to round out my palette, and since I went with the latter, this will be worth getting. Now, I just need to see Cola & Heather…
Yay! Glad this one will work for you 🙂
I LOVE THIS. It’s right up my alley. I have *very* large eyes so they are the focal point whether I try to or not, so I always look too made up with anything but subtle color on my cheeks. This looks like a blush/highlighter in one. 🙂
This would be perfect! I always reach for something like this when everything else is too bold, haha.
This blush is GORGEOUS and perfect for me, I can see me using this as my “go to – daily” blush. I will definitely be getting this shade. Looking forward to Melon and Fig review.

Nice! 😀
Hi Christine! I love this review. I was wondering how this compares to Mac Linda ? The blush was sold out by the time I went to buy it and this looks super pretty
Linda is much, much darker and more orange with less shimmer.
I love this! I have porcelain skin with cool undertones, so when this arrived and I saw that it looked like a pale bronzer in the pan, I was a little apprehensive. Everything bronze-y and nude tends to pull orange on me and that’s not my best look. I should not have worried though, as this looks really natural, soft, and glow-y. I wore it today with a subtle, warm eye look and Chanel Coco Shine in Secret (peachy beige-nude) and it was a lovely break from all the pink/coral/pastel looks I’ve been wearing lately. It looked effortless and polished. And, it is practically effortless. If there is an easier to apply blush out there, I haven’t found it.
I love the Cheek Pops so much! They are like yummy, glow-y, butter in powder form for your cheeks. And, Christine, this looks gorgeous on you. For as pale as this looks in the pan and as soft as it looks on my porcelain skin, I am truly blown away that this shows up just as beautifully on your skin. The shade is so neutral and the finish is just so very nice that I’m betting this will work well for many.
It’s such a gorgeous shade, and there’s something in the formula that seems to help the color come to the surface so that even though it’s a lighter shade, it is still visible!
I absolutely love this look on you! So fresh, pretty, and perfect for spring!
Thank you, Denise!
It is just PERFECT for me, who love dark eyes and subtle / neutral color in cheeks. You know when the formula of a product is a great success when a person like me, who am not a hug fan of blushes – “eyeshadows” are my weakness –, decide to buy six (6) shades of the same range. I have Peach Pop and Plum Pop, and now I’m definitely going to get Pink Pop, Pansy Pop (the lavender), Melon Pop and this Nude Pop.
I think that you remember that I live in BRAZIL, that I’m still recovering from a disease (I’m ok, but I cannot yet leave my home. I am looking forward to going to the beach –– many smiley faces).
Regardless of healthy, I don’t purchase any make up product without your approval.
Therefore, none of this would be possible without your job! Thank YOU so much!
(Lauren).
How long until your first beach day, Lauren? Here’s hoping it is sooner rather than later!
Thank you for your caring! My first beach day will come soon, in less than six months. I’ll keep you posted. xoxo
That is fantastic. Sending you well wishes for a continued, speedy recovery!
Many, many thanks for your generosity and kindness, Christine!
wow they really chose a perfect tone and color for ‘nude’. So far I only own plum pop. ..but I will be adding this one as well!
YAY!
These whole line of cheek pops honestly look amazing! I have to pick one up to try it when I go shopping tomorrow, I live in south america and I almost bought the Peach Pop last year. I am totally convinced now and I’ll try it to see if I can order the new ones online 😀 BEAUTIFUL! This nude one is a must have shade!
I hope you can! 🙂
So pretty! I was expecting it would be comparable to Douceur or Madly, but it’s unique 🙂
Any chance you’ll be reviewing Cola Pop soon?
I just did! I can only do one per day – sorry I can’t be faster!
That looks super pretty! I think i’ll buy it just for the adorable packaging haha x
It’s pretty, but hopefully you actually like the product itself!
It would look a touch too peachy on my skin tone but it’s a nice addition to the line.
It is!
I swatched the original range of cheek pops and wasn’t impressed, but dammit these blushes look so luminous and beautiful on you, always!! This is why I hate blush shopping, it’s really a product you need to try on before you get the full feel of it!
Hope you can try it on and see how it looks on you, Sarah!
Does it look like a shimmery bronzer then ?? What I mean is, maybe a shimmery bronzer can do the same job.. ?
It just depends on your skin tone and what you consider a bronzer. This isn’t a bronzer on me at all – it’s far too light and orange 🙂
I’m usually weary of warm brown shades because they tend to look muddy on me, but this looks peachy enough that I think it would still look great. I’m thinking this shade would look great as a bronzer on very fair skintone, too.
I hope it will work!
If it doesn’t work on me, it would most likely work on the spouse, so hey. 😛
This is so pretty, but I don’t know that it would show up and not look ashy on me. I’ll definitely swatch it i the store because sometimes, shades like this are surprisingly nice on me. It looks great on you, Christine.
Let me know how it works on your skin tone, Amanda!
I LOVE this Clinique blush! It’s affordable and has great staying power! As a VIB Rouge member at Sephora, I also just picked up Cola Pop and Pansy Pop, and omg……they are absolutely stunning! I also love TheBalm’s blushes, as well, but I certainly wouldn’t pass up on Clinique’s blushes. I have Hawaiian tan skin, and they all look fantastic. I’m so excited!
Nice! 🙂 So glad you were able to score some new blushes, Kelly!
Ugh, I want these so bad! Glad they’re permanent so I can save up for them!
Me too!
Hi Christine! If you remember, do you wear Clinique Nude Pop also on your left cheek? Looks more pink?
Hi Amalia,
It is only on your left.
I love this colour. It is not pigmented or as in your face as their others but boy does it give a beautiful healthy glow
It does!
This could be really nice for when I want a bit of warmth on my cheeks without my blush looking orange (my undertones are so cool that even neutral pinks can look orange by contrast). I’m definitely going to check it out.
I got my fingers crossed that this one will work for you!
Thanks! Occasionally I want to wear a blush in the peach/coral/orange family, but they look pretty dramatic on me. At my age, I’d rather have that drama on my lips than on my cheeks, lol!
So pretty! It goes well with your makeup look. I need to stock up on the peach blushes, I have about none of them. Oh and is it weird that the name ‘cheek pop’ makes me hungry?
Thank you, Floortje!
My credit card is screaming at me! This is the 7th one I’ve ordered. I have the first four original Cheek Pops and love them. All the new shades are so pretty. I wasn’t so sure about Fig Pop, but I wore it yesterday and I liked it. The only one I wouldn’t get is the Cola Pop, which is way too dark for me. I understand that Nude Pop and Cola Pop are exclusive to Sephora.
LOL! Mine, too. Your credit card isn’t alone!
It is so pretty and subtle. Thenfinish looks soooo nice! I think it will be a great option for me, thank you for the review and swatches!
The finish is fantastic!
These cheek pops are so tempting. Do you think this would show up on NC32?
Yes! I am NC30.
OMGOMG! I can’t decide what I want 🙁 All the colours are so so beautiful – so much for trying to limit myself to only buying 2!
Which two would you pick right now?
The nude is very pretty. I’m not sure how well it would work over any light acne scars I have on my cheeks which some blushes seem to make look worse or a deeper tone than they are.
If you try it, do let me know how it works for you, Ester! It’s pretty forgiving, I think, but I’m not sure about on scarring.
This is such a gorgeous color! Love the small amount of shimmer. Makes you look like you’re glowing. 🙂
Thanks, Jeanette!
This looks so beautiful and subtle. Does it look at all similar to NARS Luster? Thanks for all your hard work. Hope to see comparison swatches of all the different Pop Cheeks once you have completed all the reviews.

This looks beautiful! and looks so pretty on you! I will definitely have to pick a few of these up. I have Ginger pop and I love it because I can layer it on to get a more true to pan color but also wear quite sheer where it just give such a beautiful glow and sheen to the skin. I have been waiting for Clinique to release new colors, and I’m happy that these aren’t limited edition.
Thank you so much, Spring! 🙂
I love this color on my cheeks
Yay!
