Clinique Almost Lipstick for Spring 2012
Clinique Almost Lipstick for Spring 2012
Inspired by Black Honey’s signature colour statement, Clinique introduces seven new, ultra-flattering, sheer shades to the Almost Lipstick line-up. The hues range from natural nudes to pretty pinks to violets and reds. All shades are completely wearable and provide a sheer colour payoff. So go ahead. Wear red, or pink, or violet, or nude. Now it’s possible with Almost Lipstick.
The sheer, smooth formula allows the natural lip colour to come through, creating a custom-fit shade that is unique to each woman. A colour thumbprint, per se.
The soft formula delivers a hint of colour and the sheer payoff allows for fool-proof application. And, a pretty pout is the focus this Spring season. Starting in February, Almost Lipstick highlights the Almost Spring 2012 colour trend, which includes Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 to achieve a natural, dewy glow, Blushwear Cream Stick for a flushed cheek, and Naturally Glossy Mascara to top the look off with flirty lashes. This soft colour palette will give a fresh-faced, almost makeup look.

I love Black Honey so much, I’ve bought two of the almost lipstick&lipgloss combos from the fall collection. I think I should have gotten a couple more to last as I use it daily. Definitely will try out the new shades at the counter.
Aw, I almost wished they have one named Cutie Honey. XD I’m certainly interested in that red though. 😀
I’m so excited about these! It would be awesome if you could show swatches of them!
Are these limited edition? It’s about time they made these.
Omg! I want them all!
:O BLACK HONEY IS GONNA BE PERMANENT?!?! YAYYAYYAYYAYYAY!
Great news! I really liked the old Almost Lipstick formula and it’s been so weird that they’ve only kept the one shade. I think Clinique lipsticks are very good value for the quality of the product.
I have seen this pic and the pictures of the colors on the clinique site where you can buy them. And I’m just confused. They don’t seem to correspond at all, I have no idea which is which.
Looks a lot like Chanel Coco Rouge Shine. But probably cheaper and less shiny – which has to be a good thing. Will have to try these out, I think, as I love the Chanel version, just not the price!
I like the concept but I prefer opaque lip colors. I think I’ll pass.
I hope one of them is a dupe for the late, lamented (by me anyway) Ruby Melt! I adored Ruby Melt and was so sad when Clinique discontinued it.
I wonder if these are similar to the ones from years ago?
I seen these at my Clinique counter in Belk but I only bought Black Honey because i’ve always wanted it. But the adviser their loves the pink one for winter 🙂
The red one looks very interesting – oh, to be honest: they all do… 🙂
This makes me so happy! I used to wear a shade called Sweet Nothing back in the day when Clinique first came out with the Almost Lipstick before all but the Black Honey was discontinued. Maybe one of these will be similar to Sweet Nothing. I hope!
They had these in the past and discontinued all the other colors except Black Honey — now for Round 2. 🙂
Great idea from Clinique. This has promise
ooooo! I just purchased Black Honey for the first time not too long ago. loved the feel of it and was heartbroken to see that the almost lipstick only came in one color so I’m excited!
Will you be reviewing any, Christine? I’ve been wanting to try out this formula!
Not sure – I do not have anything at this time – and I generally plan most of my reviews 4-6 weeks out, sorry!
Oh, please, please, please review them, Christine!
Yesssss, oh man, I am so excited for this. I hope you or another beauty blog I trust reviews these because otherwise I am liable to just get ’em all, to hell with “budgets” XD.
Yes, please review them, and if you can compare them to the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine which is the same concept, even better! Must be the “in thing” these coloured balms at the moment! Can’t wait to try this one too – but would appreciate a review first…
YES!!! FINALLY!!
Since Black Honey was the first “make up” product I ever used I was excited to check these out in person. I ended up with Chic Honey. It was the most pigmented on me,next to Black Honey. I say it has a mauve-like color, but hey everyones lips are different.
Beware the swatches on the Clinique website. I just got mine today; I ordered spicy honey and it looks nothing like the online swatch. I like it and will wear it but I wanted a color similar to what the swatch shows. I’m going to have to make a trip to the counter to try out the rest of these in person.
